TEA Party Patriots: July 17 Simultaneous Health Care Freedom Tea
"TEA PARTY PATRIOTS HEALTH CARE EVENTS!
STAND UP! STOP THE FEDERAL POWER-GRAB!
WE ARE HOLDING OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS FEET TO THE FIRE!
On July 17th, 2009 patriots all over the country will be holding protest rallies at the offices of their Federal Senators and House Representatives alike. Telling them we did not want Cap and Trade was not enough. To get our Elected Officials to hear our voices, this time we will show up in person to get their attention.
These protest rallies will occur simultaneously across the United States.
These Protest Rallies will held at 9a to 10a PDT; 11a to Noon CDT; Noon to 1p EDT
From Florida to Washington, from Maine to California, from Alaska to Hawaii and everywhere in between you and thousands of other Tea Party Patriots will assemble together outside the offices of those who are elected to represent us, and make our voices heard once again.
Join your fellow Tea Party Patriots on July 17th at the local home office of each Federal Congressman and Senator (see link "Location Finder" below). We are going to make it absolutely clear we oppose government run health care."

Hello Donnie:
You ask, “How can anyone be against Universal Health Care?”
Here is my response: On the Surface, I too, feel the warm fuzzies that the thought of guaranteed health care for everyone provides...
But then we have to deal with the realities of life. I divide my reasons for being against Universal Health Care as follows:
1) Historic and Economic Reality
2) Government Inefficiency, Waste and Virtually Unlimited Demand
3) Government Bureaucracy Rationing vs Free Market Forces and Charity
4) Suppression of Creativity, Invention and the Attraction of Talent
5) Fundamental change in the relationship between Citizens and Elected Officials
6) Erosion of Liberties and Impairing the Freedom to Dissent and Criticize Elected Officials.
Please read the rest of my response at
USA - How Can Anyone be Against Universal Health Care?
Respectfully

Donnie, Please, you can't be serious! Have you not heard of the horror stories in other countries that already have federalized Health Care? I hope you are young, because if you are old, and need Dialysis, good luck, you probably will not get it. You are not worth the $$.
Tell me, when was the last time the government was successful at running anything?
Medicare? Social Security? Border Control?
Be careful what you wish for, and do some research for God's sake! It's your future AND your responsibility as an American citizen.
