Saboteurs

Joe Biden has it correct referring to Tea Party members whose motivation is to take down the United States of America. Their ideological dispute and means very much test the criteria for treason and sabotage.

“A meeting between Vice President Joe Biden and House Democrats today, meant to last an hour, went on for more than two as angry lawmakers aired their greivances. “I didn't go to convince,” he said on the way out of the meeting. “I went to explain.” Biden agreed with caucus members that tea party Republicans acted like “terrorists” in this fight. Many Republicans also left their meeting with House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) unsatisfied with the deal leaders in both parties negotiated over the weekend.”

Watch for legal action to follow.

If there is legal action, it would prove all the people warning about domestic use of the PATRIOT act for political reasons right.

From the highest office in the land comes the decree..." that any one who stands in the way of the progressive Democrats in the White House will be label traitors to the nation". VP Biden confirms in talks with Party members.

Obama is now the ultimate authority. The call for legal action has gone out against those -who have by Constitutionally legal means -opposed the will of the Democratic Party and Obama specifically. Fascist authoritarianism moves three steps forward. Democracy, liberty, justice move three steps backwards. The Progressive New World Order advances.

Step one. Demonize those who hold an opposing opinion, ridicule those who will not discard their values and ethics and readily adopt political correctness. Step two. Moralize the theft of private property as a social good. Step three. Declare the ascendant value of the mob and moralize the subjugation of the individual to that will. Moralize the removal of the basic tenets of individual freedoms under the guise of "national security". Advocate as a truism that government knows what is best and is the proper method of servicing the want of the proletariat. Step four. Destroy the States ability to produce. A weakened economy is a weakened State susceptible to erosion from with in. Step five. Expand the size and scope of government beyond the peoples ability to financially support. Step six. Nationalize any remaining industry. Step seven. Having achieved the socialist ideal, throw the working stiff to the wolves and slaughter those who speak out against or work to oppose the progressive liberals New World Order.

We will be dusting up all the way through the 2012 election. Let's see who can create jobs and grow the American pie.

If you officially joined the NP club look at all the points you would get.

One thing for sure is we will see how a growing segment of the population loves to be called "terrorist" by Obama and his fellow travelers. Like I said many times before. It's like the past November elections never happened in Obama's mind. He hasn't learned a thing from those results. It's like he's thinking F.U. America. I might get my second term by a thread, but I'm going to get my second term.

I am thinking FU Tea Party -- I am going to fight you.

We have a totalitarian police state in the US. The US is no different in suppressing dissent than the despotic governments in Russia, China, and the Mideast. Way to go, Captain America.

Calling the Tea Party "terrorists" is an act of desperation. Since 2009 the Tea Party movement has been an example of a true grassroots organization. I won't throw out any percentage or number of American citizen's belonging to the movement but it is extraordinary. It is so amazing that the Tea Party even has caucuses in the House of Representatives and Senate. Obviously it has grown quite fast since 2009. The people are speaking and want their country back. The people want to preserve their constitution and keep the government's sticky hands out of their pockets. Our elected officials got us into this mess, now it's the responsibility of the tax paying citizens to put representatives in office to clean up the mess. True, at this point the Tea Party is not a majority. However, look how fast it has grown in a couple of years. Does Biden and the paranoid left really want to play the terrorist card? It is so pathetic that they call American citizen taxpayers “terrorists” and rarely use the term on real Islamic terrorists and call them “extremists”. Yes at this stage of the game the Tea Party is probably the fastest grassroots movement in history just being only a little over two years old. At this rate the future may be hopeful.

As confirmed by VP Biden in his speech to Democratic Party members, following on the words of Rep. Mike Doyle [D-PA] “We have negotiated with terrorists,”“This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.”. Obama has usurped the 4th Amendment rights of  legally elected Representatives who hold Congressional office and an entire Political organization made up of free citizens of these United States. Unless a full retraction is offered by Obama denying the intent of the VP and Rep. Doyle's language and Obama apologizes to the nation, impeachment proceedings must be initiated immediately. By labeling members of the Tea Party "terrorist", members can be now arrested with out cause and detained at Gitmo with out ever seeing the inside of a court room. This threat is too real to allow any excuse. Obama must speak out against this language. VP Biden needs to lose his position as The Peoples Representative and the President's spokesman.

How are the Tea Party Terrorists?

I simply don't understand how it is that having a political opinion makes anyone a terrorist. Hell, even the people that would like to see Sharia Law, or Anarchists, or Warmongers, aren't terrorists simply for having and voicing their opinions.

The Tea Party has not, and never will, attempt to murder, destroy, kill, or otherwise commit terrorist acts. They are a Political movement, and being politically active, inspite of what the DHS, the UK Government, or Biden might tell you, does not by it's own nature make a person a "terrorist" simply for disagreeing with the current government's policies.

Isn't accusing members of a political party that's duly elected hate speech?(Not that Congress authorizes any wars anymore, that's the UN's job now.)It's very hateful if you ask me,maybe they should get a lawyer.Hate speech is hate speech.Al Franken was making jokes about Congress being terrorists too.Someone should talk to him about his speech also.

The members are duly elected, correct. Their behavior is suspect thereafter. A duly elected official bent on destroying the government it represents is 1) a traitor or 2) saboteur.

The needs of We the People are 1) jobs, and 2) economic security. We need an economic system that is sustainable at this point in history. Contemplating and discussion alternatives is the correct way to approach the changes we need.

The current legislation did not afford the proper debate. That is not all the fault of Tea Party representatives. They may have thought they had no other choice than to hijack the Republican Party. However, this happened at what price to democracy?

I gave you a recommend because that was a thoughtful response.

1
Tsenzei

Do you have any actual evidence that the "Tea Party" is trying to destroy the federal government?

That is quite the accusation.

Yet I suspect that you have as much evidence of this as I have that you are a rampaging murderous lunatic, hellbent on the devouring of human flesh.

1
YankeeJim

Actually, if you read the posts and listen to their language many members, leaders, and elected officials are about the business of tearing down the Federal Government. Read the creed behind libertarians, for instance. Read the specific intent of the Tea Party.

I have no doubt that many Americans who got onto the TP band wagon did so with good intentions. I submit that TP leaders are greedy Republicans who cannot get votes to support their aims other than to exploit the fear of common people.

"Libertarians predicted Tea Party betrayal in January

WASHINGTON - On January 17, 2011, the Libertarian Party (LP) asked the 90,000 readers of its weekly email message to take a poll asking, "When will we know that Republicans successfully fooled the Tea Partiers?"

59% of respondents chose the option, "When they raise the debt limit without real spending cuts.""

0
"thirty-aught-six"

Using the LP to define the TP? That doesn't prove the TP is out to destroy the nation as you assert nor justify calling them terrorist. I hope you have given this some thought and are prepared for the blowback. Labeling your fellow citizens terrorist because they want spending restrictions put on a spend spend spend government aint going to be free.

1
Tsenzei

Members, leaders and elected officials of what? Certainly not the Tea Party. Calling for restriction of Federal Government is not the same as calling for it's destruction.

The article you quote and linked also does not show the Tea Party as calling for destruction of the Government. In fact, it is an article discussing whether or not Republicans that have claimed allegiance to the Tea Party's platform are disinterested in actually following through on that claim with their voting and actions on the Hill, based on the LP's Online Poll. Online Polls, as a general rule, are not scientifically accurate, let alone the options provided by that specific poll: www.lp.org/poll/when-will-we-know-that-republicans-successfully-fooled-the-tea-partiers

Even if that poll is accurate, it is a condemnation of Republicans who may or may not have lied about their political ideals, and such Republicans certainly don't lead the Tea Party, any more than Obama leads the Peace movement with his campaign promises to end the war in Iraq and be more open to diplomacy.

Both Republicans and Democrats (and Independents) touted rhetoric in recent political campaigns that would theoretically appeal to the Tea Party movement, regardless of record. That doesn't make them "leaders" of the Tea Party either.

However, you're original issue was not about whether or not various politicians were appealing to a specific political demographic in their rhetoric, but, rather, that there are:

"Tea Party members whose motivation is to take down the United States of America."

There are no Tea Party members who are trying to take down the USA. That is a gross misstatement. You further claim that:

"Their ideological dispute and means very much test the criteria for treason and sabotage."

Having a difference of ideology is next to treason and sabotage?

I can fully understand if you disagree with the political sentiments of the Tea Party. Yet claiming that such a disagreement means that they (and only they) are somehow terrorists, calling their behavior "suspicious." They have a different to obtain Jobs and Economic Security, but that is not the same thing as sabotage just because you believe them to be incorrect.

I do not consider those with the political agenda of expanding over-sees work versus growing domestically terrorists, even though they are directly opposed to increasing Jobs in the US, something I'm sure we agree is harmful to the nation.

If you want to talk about Treason, then talk about super-ceding Constitutional authority, such as altering the Legislative Process via the "Super Congress" or initiating offensive wars without Congressional Authority or a Declaration of War from Congress. If you want to talk about Sabotage then talk about the US citizens and military personnel who were responsible for leaking classified information to Wiki-Leaks.

Those people are the traitors. Not people who have a different political and/or economic ideal than yourself.

They want to shrink the size of the government for a more free market economy... NOT destroy/shrink America.  Wow, im not a Tea Party member but at least I don't write miss informative bias articles.  They are strict constitutionalists.  I would call that anything but terrorism.

2
YankeeJim

You offer much to debate there. "Strict Constitutionalists," and "free market economy." You will have to expound more to get me to bite.

0
Tsenzei

I would have thought that "strict constitutionalists" and "free market" would be fairly self-explanatory. I'm curious, however, if and how you intend to turn a desire to follow the constitution as anti-US.

3
Karen Hatter

You're right, Jim, about there's much to debate on the TEA Party's desire to follow or use the Constitution as a guide for their actions.

It's obvious they throw out that piece of propaganda when it suits their purposes.

The sad thing about what some are calling the TEA Party phenomena is that they are seen as the last, best chance of the Republican Party to attempt to hold onto power in the U.S.

It has been the Republican Party leadership, while pretending to have to 'deal' with the freshman TEA Party members, that has decided that having the party lurch to the extreme far right is a good thing.

The GOP has said for over two years that the Right Wing of their party, the TEA Party, IS their base so, this is to whom they are now beholden and have allowed to take over the party.

Of course, the GOP miscalculated one thing; the conservative billionaires and corporations that have been funding the TEA Party, expecting a 'return' on their money as in making them MORE money.

This last TEA Party stunt, holding the U.S. government hostage for six months, has put the monetary prospects and continuing status of finances in the U.S. in jeopardy.

Look for those who shaped the TEA Party into the entity it is now to begin to slowly back away from them 'cause they done messed with their money.

STATE OF THE UNION BY DUDDITS Today I awoke to chem-trails on a scale that even I thought not possible. The sky a metallic gray with wisps of off white powder descending all the way to the ground, and hazing the vista so severely that mountains only 5-10 miles away could scarcely be seen.

  • I ate and made ready to take my 10 year old son to an appointment. We drove to a neighboring town which is 20 miles away. The Chem-Trail sky was as bad or worse the entire distance. The speed limit is 35 through the thoroughfare, and I have driven it many times with no troubles.  I usually run at 35-38 mph" honestly, today at the crossing of the 2nd light a unmarked red camaro cruiser quickly pulled in behind and proceeded to pull me over. I of course complied.
  • The local officer opened his door , stood behind it while he radioed in. It seemed to me that he was taking his time about it, so I rolled down the window and stuck my head out to inquire. He immediately pointed his finger at me and instructed me to stay in my vehicle.
  • Moments later a white vehicle pulled in behind his"  two plain clothes individuals moved to the officers position. The three of them talked and then the two plain clothes persons moved to the right side and approached the passenger side and took up a position directly in front of my 10 year old son" with their hands palming their holstered weapons. The local approaching my side with the same posture" he looked in and asked me if I knew why he was pulling me over. I replied NO. He stated that he clocked me at 5 over limit, and asked for my insurance and registration, which I promptly gave him.
  • At this time one of the plain clothed persons moved around and addressed me by my name, and asked me if I had a weapon in my vehicle. It was then that I simultaneously replied with why do you want to know? At the same time seeing the ID clipped to his lapel that clearly read DHS.
  • He became abrupt and agitated and said" Alright lets cut to the chase" I am going to ask you one more time, Do you have a weapon in your vehicle. Keep in mind that my 10 year old son is siting next to me, and I could see tears welling up in his eyes, so I answered him with a no.
  • He preceded to tell me the penalties for lying to an officer about the knowledge of a weapon and disclosure. I assured him that I did not have in my possession a weapon. He proclaimed that my records indicate that I have a license to carry a weapon. To which I replied I chose not to carry a weapon with me , or in my car today because I am on errands and obviously have a young child in my vehicle today.

He replied with" Don't you think thats about a dumbass thing to do. I mean why maintain a weapon permit if you dont' carry a weapon ?

  • At this point I felt trouble, and asked if I was free to go. The local cop said he was letting me off with a verbal warning to keep my speed down, and the other again reminded me that I should have my records adjusted to reflect my not having a weapon. Told me to have a nice day.
  • After comforting my son, because he was clearly upset. We completed our errands and returned home, only to find that the tree in our front yard had collapsed from the high winds that had apparently rolled through the area while we were gone. Smashing the side of the house , and the fence, and my new grill.
  • Tonight, there have been several warplanes flying directly over our home at about 1500 - 2000 feet. With several passes that were loud and rattled the house some.
  • So" I guess this is it. This is what this Nation has come to and I am saddened to say, but I get it know. This next part is more for the Government...... I get it" I really do! You are the boss. You got the Badge and the Gun, you got the warplanes and all the power in the world. I surrender and bow to your ability's and power and promise to never - ever bother you again with my speaking out against unfairness and Legal theft. I am sorry for pointing out what I thought were bad ideas that you had. I am truly sorry for trying to exercise what I thought was my right to free speech. You have my word.

The next part is for those of you who may have read my words, who may have shared my beliefs. It was good to come here and share and seek the truth, and I now know it. Goodbye and good luck to you all.

Obviously if Obama has no regard for the Constitution, his blind followers who parrot the partisan progressive line will also hold the Constitution as immaterial to the Party will. Therefore the Constitution becomes a barrier to progressive will and governing principle.
