The Tear Drop Monument was donated by the Russian people in tribute to those lost on 9/11. There are no signs leading you to find this remarkable monument. The base has the names of those lost inscribed similar to the Vietnam Wall in DC. The walkway is lined with stones donated by those in remembrance of this day. The site is directly across from the Statue of Liberty, and looking at that skyline, you truly do see what's missing.

Thank you for this, PSE. Please forgive the question but, Is it really true that there are no signs leading to this monument? Thanks!

Rhonda,
The day I went there were absolutely No signs.
If I hadn't been with someone who grew up in Bayonne, I'd never have found it

Why was this not all over the News?? Why is this not advertised as a "US Monument to vist"? Why are there no signs leading you to it?
