"The boy was arrested shortly after 4 o'clock," Montreal police Constable Lynne Labelle said yesterday. "A search of his house is being done to see if there are any firearms or any evidence that he was capable of carrying out the threats."

The CEGEP, on Ontario St. E. near St. Denis St., is one of Montreal's biggest colleges.

The school was closed yesterday after police in Cincinnati learned from an Internet chat room that someone was threatening to go on a shooting rampage
