  This is typical and happens way too often. Use to be we would never hear of this in the news. Now we hear more and more horrific stories of kidnapped girls and boys who are forced into human sex trafficking. What's worse we are hearing about parents who are selling their children.
  This is happening in Mexico and the US, all over the world, when is it going to stop? Without support and action from all Governments around the World we will continue to witness the selling of babies,forced prostitution, and Human Sex Traffiking. We have to look beneath the surface.
  Report what we see even if you think it's nothing. Remember the girl in Vista I did a story on, Beaten with a wire hanger almost to death. She lived in a normal house in a normal neighborhood.

Leonard Russell arrested, was the first person to be convicted under Iowa's human trafficking law. Russell was found guilty in September following a trial in Crawford County, Iowa. He was also convicted of one count of ongoing criminal conduct and two counts of pandering.Prosecutors who used addresses in Sioux City, Iowa, and Omaha recruited and harbored two girls, ages 15 and 16, who were runaways. The Iowa attorney general said Marcia Ryan helped recruit the underage runaway girls in Omaha last August and took them to Russell for the purposes of selling them for sex. Ryan's mother told KETV in September that her daughter was a victim in the scheme. Cassandra Ryan said Russell preyed on her daughter in addition to the teens.
