Tell Google to stop funding anti-gay Senator
Companies sometimes do bad, though they want you, the consumer, to think they are paragons of virture. Well, here are some companies, doing bad. You can take action to have these companies clean up their act.
United Parcel Service or UPS, is one of the largest parcel carriers in the world. They also help fund Fueling California, a corporate backed group with the goal in mind of gutting California laws dealing with cleaner fuels, and cleaner air and water. Tell UPS to stop funding this group.
Now for a company I am really disappointed. Google is known as one of the strongest pro-gay rights companies in the U.S., even more so then the average Silicon Valley company.
It has spent its' hard earned money on supporting marriage equality and gay rights. I also prefer it to Bing. With that said, I was amazed that such a company could fund one of the biggest anti-gay zealots in not only the Senate but the halls of Congress, Oklahoma Senator James Inhoffe.
Inhoffe has boasted about not having any gay family members.. Yes, you read that correctly. How he would know for sure, I have no idea. If you are gay, would you come out to him if he was your dad or even your uncle? Of course not. He has connections with Uganda legislator David Bahati, a man who has supported executing gay men in that nation, under certain conditions.
Google is supporting Inhoffe, also a big deniar of climate change, for likely anti-trust reasons, or at the very least, economic reasons. While Google executives abhor the social beliefs, with good reason, of politicians like Inhoffe, they are willing to fund them to pad their profits. Please e-mail Google and tell them, stop funding Inhoffe and his groups.
