Terri Horman, Missing Kyron's Stepmother, Tried to Kill Husband
Details Have Emerged That Terri Moulton Horman, Missing Kyron Horman's Stepmother Tried to Have Husband Kaine Horman Killed
A landscaper told OregonLive.com that about seven months before Kyorn Horman went missing around Skyline Elementary School, his stepmother Terri Horman approached him and offered him money to kill her husband.
When Kaine Horman was told of the scheme last weekend, he left the house he shared with Terri and took their 19-month-old daughter with him. He has now filed for a divorce, obtained an attorney, and filed for a petition for a restraining order against her.
Investigators also recorded a conversation June 26 among the cooperating landscaper, Terri Horman and an undercover law enforcement officer, but Horman shut down the conversation fairly quickly, sources said.
Terri Horman is still not considered a suspect in the disappearance of her stepson almost one month ago and she has not been charged with any crime at this time. When confronted with the questions that she tried to have her husband killed, she denied all the claims.
It is now much clearer as to why Kaine Horman suddenly left the family home and why he and Kyron's mother, his ex-wife made a public plea to Terri Horman to cooperate with police.
Ms. Horman was reportedly the last person to see Kyron before he disappeared. She said that they went to the science fair at the school together and then she saw him walking towards his classroom to start the day. He never attended school however and no one knew he was missing until the end of the day.
Terri Horman continues to be under intense scrutiny from the media and the police.
