Third brother of two Pakistanis held for alleged al-Qaeda links also goes missing

KARACHI: Younger brother of the Dr Brothers -- Ajmal Waheed and Akmal Waheed -- Osama bin Waheed went missing from the Cantt Station area here on Sunday.

The Dr Brothers were arrested some years back for having links with al-Qaeda and the Jundullah.

Ajmal Waheed said his younger brother, a computer engineer by profession, had gone to the Cantt Station on September 14 to see off their father. "He is missing after then," he said.

Ajmal further said that some unknown persons had visited Osama’s house the other day and told her wife not to worry about Osama as he would be back home soon.

Ajmal was convinced that some intelligence agency personnel had abducted his brother.
