A Thomson Airways Boeing 757-200 Had to Make An Emergency Landing in Athens After Receiving a Bomb Threat on April 4 2011

The airline had taken off from Bristol in England, and was on its way to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt when a bomb threat was received by an Egyptian news agency.

Greek fighter jets escorted the plane into Athens, where it is undergoing checks in a remote area of Athens International Airport according to the BBC.

There were 213 people on board, and they are all said to be doing fine.

Everyone has now been evacuated from the plane.
