The jury sitting in the trial of eight men accused over an alleged terrorist plot to detonate flights over the Atlantic has found three men guilty of conspiracy to murder.
The ringleader, Abdullah Ahmed Ali, 27, of Walthamstow, was convicted of conspiracy to murder persons unknown, as was Assad Sarwar, 28, of High Wycombe, and Tanvir Hussain, 27, of Leyton, east London.
Mohammed Gulzar, 26, of Barking, London, was found not guilty of any offence and formally discharged, while jurors were unable to reach a verdict on the four remaining defendants.
They included: Ibrahim Savant 27, of Stoke Newington, north London, Arafat Waheed Khan, 26, of Walthamstow, Waheed Zaman 24, of Walthamstow and Umar Islam, aka Brian Young, 30, of Plaistow, east London.
The uncovering of the alleged plot in the summer of 2006 caused travel chaos at UK airports, prompting a raft of increased security measures for travellers.
Ali, Sarwar and Hussain had previously pleaded guilty to plotting an explosion but denied plans to cause fatalities.
The three men and the other defendants apart from Mr Gulzar also admitted conspiring to cause a public nuisance by making videos threatening explosions.

Jarrett Martineau, I like this story. It's good stuff. This is seriously scary stuff: what if they had not been caught?
