Three people are dead after an employee shot and killed two coworkers before killing himself at a New Jersey PathMark Friday morning.

Police said a shooting happened early Friday inside a PathMark grocery store in Old Bridge, N.J., a suburb about 25 miles from New York.

The victims were an 18-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, both from Old Bridge. The gunman was 23-years-old. All three were working the night shift at the Pathmark with 12 to 14 other employees.

The unnamed suspect is believed to be an ex-Marine who worked at the store for about two weeks, sources told WCBS-TV. He was armed with an AK-47 and an automatic pistol, and was dressed in camouflage,

The store was closed at the time. Authorities, who were called to the PathMark, on Route 9, at around 4 a.m. said the person believed to be the shooter was among the dead.
