Three members of a family were killed Friday evening when suspected US drones fired two missiles at a house in Katira village of Pakistan’s North Waziristan Tribal Agency.
According to tribal sources, three US drones after hovering over the area of Mirali subdivision fired two missiles at a house at about 10 p.m. local time, killing three members of a family, whose identity could not be ascertained immediately.
The residents said two kinds of drones -- black and white -- had been frequently intruding into the area. They said the black drones seemed to be meant for hitting the targets and the white for surveillance purpose.
