With just one day into the Olympics, more protesters have caused embarrassment to Chinese authorities. Five activists from the Students for a Free Tibet protested at Tiananmen Square on Saturday that lasted for about 10 minutes before being led away by plain-clothes officers and an angry mob behind them. The fate of the three Americans, a German and Canadian are still unknown.

Activists from the same group also unfurled a Free Tibet banner earlier this week during the torch relay in Beijing. They were subsequently detained and deported.

Despite the heavy security presence and zero tolerance on protests of any kind, the group's founder, John Hocevar, says non-violent protests will continue.

You need to use the crowd sourcing function to search Youtube, it is not easy you need to use the same tags used on the Youtube page, I have added the one of the protest for you.

edlee83, I like this story. It's good stuff.

About YouTube and the NP search function: I have often put in the exact title of a video that I know exists. NP can't find it. I put in the exact tags of that video, NP can't find it.

I don't know if that's the case here, but I thought I'd just throw that into the stewpot.

And it's good to have "the other side" of the Bejing Olympics reported as well as the other stuff from the Olympics.

Do you really know what happened in Tibet?
CNN?

DO YOU KNOW THAT CNN OFFICIALLY APOLOGIZED FOR THEIR FALSE REPORTING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN TIBET?

You are just knowing what you want to know, that's all. please do some homework next time

edlee83, I like this story. It's good stuff.  You wonder how long political dissent can be swept under the carpet.
