Tiger Woods: Comeback Planned At Arnold Palmer Invitational?
Tiger Woods To Make A Comeback?
Several news sources, including New York Post, are speculating that golfer Tiger Woods will make his comeback at Arnold Palmer Invitational, which takes place March 22-28, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. The contest has a $6-million purse and involves best players in the game. Both 2008 and 2009 Arnold Palmer Invitationals have been won by Woods.
Woods made a public statement on February 19, explaining his behavior before and in the month after the sex scandal. In his speech, Woods did drop a clue that he would be returning to golf, but did not specify when that will actually happen.
"I do plan to return to golf one day, I just don't know when that day will be."
It is reported that Woods has been working with swing coach Hank Haney, and recently hired former White House aide Ari Fleischer to help him rehabilitate his image.
Even Tiger's personal life seems to be getting back on track. Woods was spotted kissing with no less than his own wife Elin Nordegren this week. Weeks earlier, there were reports that Nordegren might be moving back in with Woods after three months of separation.
