In Breaking News, AlvarezGalloso took these photos of the General Elections in Miami Florida in 2009.

The vote is ongoing as the underwriter publishes this story with the photos. According to some of the latest poll reports, here are the following results [which will count as breaking news as well].

Miami Mayoral Elections:

2/128 precincts counted Tomas Regalado wins with 70.73% of the votes with 13,323 voting for him followed by his challenger

Joe Sanchez with 29.27% of the votes and 5,514 votes.

The total was 18,837 voters in the City of Miami which appears to have had a low turnout.

This may change as the night progresses.

Hialeah Mayoral Elections: 3/52 precincts counted Julio Robaina wins with 93.88% of the vote and 10,776 voting for him followed by Santiago Cardenas with 6.12% of the vote and 699 votes.

The total was 11,425 voters.

Miami Beach Mayoral Elections: 3/36 precincts counted Matti Herrera wins with 77>69% of the vote and 3040 votes deposited for the candidate followed by Rafael Perlman with 7.18% of the vote and 281 votes deposited.

Laura Rivero Levey is currently in second place with 15.1% of the votes and 592 votes deposited.

The results will continue to be monitored and an invitation is extended to anyone willing to report the results of the Elections in Miami Florida and surrounding areas of Miami-Dade County.
