A campaign has been launched today in Sussex urging the public to report anything the think is suspicious of living a lavish lifestyle on a criminal income.

The two week advertising campaign 'Too much bling? give us a ring.' will take place i the form of a website, pub coasters and bus posters.

[q url=""]Kent Police Chief Constable, Michael Fuller, commented: "I was delighted to have assisted in launching this campaign on the same day as the start of National Tackling Drugs Week.[/q]

Det Sgt Mick Richards, from Sussex Police's money laundering investigation team also commented saying:

"Members of the public are sick and tired of seeing people with no legitimate income living a lavish lifestyle and this is their opportunity to do something about it.

"It's incredibly disheartening for people to see others living affluent lives off the back of crime when they are leading honest lives and working hard, particularly in the current climate.

Members of the public are urged to call crimestoppers UK should they see or hear of anything suspicious.
