I am starting this article to give persons an opportunity to hold the President Accountable.  When the election Cycle comes around, I intend to post the tally and post the results to inform the General Electorate. Please don't make this a partisan dominated Accounting. I do not want this to be a exercise in party loyalty.  I want this to be an exercise in your personal Absolute beliefs. Please come here as a common Citizen without bias and post your honest personal, non-party affiliation biased opinion of Broken Campaign Promises and Breaches of the Public Trust, if any. My Top 6 Items are:

1) Broken Campaign Promise - Support of the "Net Neutrality" Bill Preventing interference with the Internet and keeping it out of the Control of Major Media and excessive Government Controls;

2) Broken Campaign Promise - No Earmarks (Pork-Barreling) in the Budget or any bills;

3) Broken Campaign Promise -No Lobbyist in the White House;

4) Breach of the Public Trust - Failure to Demand and Receive a full accounting of the disbursement of the 700 Billion Dollars in Bank Bail Out Money;

5) Breach of the Public Trust - Failure to have Democrat California Representative  Harman and Republican Attorney General Harman charged with Treason for aiding spies and Treason for Covering Up Treason, respectively. (Search NowPublic  for  "California Rep Wiretap" for more info)

6) Broken Campaign  Promise - Change in Position on Immigration.

I am going to wait for other persons to post these in the comments and flesh them out before I post them as comments and flesh them out, if necessary.

It is my sincere desire that others emulate my campaign to hold elected officials accountable and start similar articles for their own elected officials, US and State Senators and Representatives, Governors, Supreme Court Justices, Judges, Mayors, City Managers, County Board Members, School Board Members, and any other elected official(or Government Bureaucrat for that matter).  Please feel free to cut and past my introduction as a template to begin from to start your own similar blog of other candidates of interest to you. Please do not start another one on Obama. I did not choose him for selfish or political reasons. I chose him because he is the highest profile politician in America Right now and I hope to use that high profile status to build momentum for this movement. If the President were a Republican right now, I would have chosen them also.

I am tired of Elected Officials promising one thing as a Candidate and doing something else when elected.  Worse, afterwards avoiding answering questions and taking calls from upset constituents.

My thoughts in promoting this exercise run along these two thought threads:

1) The Need to hold politicians Accountable for Campaign Promises:

2) Adhering to Absolute as opposed Condition/Situational Morality and Truth

                            1) CANDIDATE ACCOUNTABILITY

We need to hold politicians Accountable.  For Example, If you supported and voted for Obama for his Candidate position on immigration, your darn right -- you should hold him accountable for changing position now that he has been elected.

But the Republicans voice should be supportive if this is a reasoned change of policy, especially between Campaign Cycles.  Yes, the can be a within the party buzz about the flip flop but there is no need to make it the central point when purportedly Obama has moved closer to the Conservative position.  Those people for whom his Candidate immigration policy was a "deal-maker" position are already upset and will remember the betrayal all on their own. Just for Quid Pro Quo on Presidential Candidates breaking Campaign promises; George Bush 1, "Read my Lips, No new Taxes" That should balance the political Candidate accountability equation.

And, with the advent of the internet, how many times have we heard a Candidate state a position on an issue in front of one group, demographic or geographic location and offer a different position on the same issue in front of a different group, demographic or geographic location.  Any reasonable person can deduce from this duplicity that the Candidate has no real interest in the issues but merely wants to manipulate voters to get power. Regardless of Political Affiliation, Why do you want to vote for such a person?  They care more about power than they do your issues and will change their position as necessary to retain there power.

Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me Twice Shame on me.

           2) ABSOLUTE VS CONDITIONAL/SITUATIONAL MORALITY AND TRUTH

It is time for Americans stop letting the 2 major Political parties frame the arguments on the issues.  We need to start thinking for ourselves and start adhering to absolute morality and absolute truth instead situational or conditional morality and truth.

Whatever your issue is, decide your position and support any candidates endorsement of your position, regardless of political affiliation who supports your position on that issue.

For example, If Obama is sincere in his new position on immigration and you support it, regardless of party, support him for his move to the position you favor or don't support him for the his position if he betrayed your vote.

This same Absolute vs Conditional/Situational should also extend to how we view candidates legal, ethical and moral issues.  If we believe, affairs are immoral, then we should all politicians and Bureaucrats to the same standard and consequence. If bribes are illegal, it should require the same amount of evidence to sway public opinion and/or convict regardless of the political affiliation of the accused.

In Short, our evaluation of our politicians should be done in Absolute terms rather than Conditional/Situational terms as the latter lends itself to the Political Parties being allowed to manipulate our votes.

We need to stop think Republican v Democrat, Conservative v Liberal, Rich v Poor & Middle Class and start thinking Average Voter v Corrupt Politician.

These were my thoughts on these matters.

Respectfully,
Your Fellow Sovereign Citizen (As Defined by our Founding Fathers not the Anarchists)

"I am going to wait for other persons to post these in the comments and flesh them out before I post them as comments and flesh them out, if necessary."

Flesh them out?  Umm, you've made many baseless accusations.

The responsibility to "flesh them out" is yours. You should be accountable for your own statements.

I guess I though the ones I listed were so well known that others would post them and it would not look like I was just against obama.

Please point out which ones are baseless and I will flesh them out for you.

And then you can retract your attack and apologize,

BROKEN CAMPAIGN PROMISE

NET NEUTRALITY - KEEPING ACCESS TO THE INTERNET CHEAP AND UNRESTRICTED

Candidate Obama and Hillary Clinton supported the "Net Neutrality" Bill Preventing interference with the Internet and keeping it out of the Control of Major Media and free of excessive Government Controls.

President Obama is now entertaining Legislation Giving Major Media and Government Bureaucracies power to restrict access and control content on the internet. Inevitably this will lead to increased fees and decreased innovation. Senator Rockefeller has introduced bills 773 and 778.  During hearings he has said the Internet was a terrible invention and we should have stayed with pen and paper. He also remorsed that taking away the Internet would make it more difficult for the alternative Media to rebut Government and Corporate Propaganda.

Thanks for your article.  Interesting today Obama comes out with two lobbyists and say these people are here to cut healthcare costs.  Oh now I understand... no Lobbyists you don't like.
