Partick Price did accuse Westmont students of starting the fire. I copied the page and put it on my web site: http://www.harpercommunities.com/PriceFalseHeadline.pdf
Partick lies in the post below just 2 hours after his headline ran.
at 14:32 on November 19th, 2008My post never said Westmont students were responsible. I'm flattered that my images are so persuading, but really the facts are right there and the post is non biased and based on facts.
The tounge is a fire that can cause greater damage than flames themselves.

I have read every comment on Patrick's article as well as the articles in the Independent. Over a dozen people falsely accused the Westmont students of starting the fire but not one has apologized for jumping to such conclusion publically. Several accusers have stated that this was confirmed or justified by their attitude towards Christians or Westmont's land-use approvals or observation of a few students involved in questionable activities in the past (i.e. drinking, pot smoking, pro Prop8 stance, snobbery, etc.).
These accusers sound like they have some deep rooted prejudices (or intolerant at the least). Some wanted the school to be sold to pay for the damages among other reparation. I have heard none of the same cries for retaliation against SBCC now that their students have been found to be the actual responsible parties. I can only hope that torches and pitchforks have gone out of style in Montecito, at least for a while.
