Toronto al-Qaida: Terrorist plotters talked of 'bombing' innocents

Canadians certainly felt this could never happen on Canadian Soil, many feeling, this is a war of terror which happens in far flung reaches of the world and in Europe. These same views were held by our American neighbours as well, until that fateful and tragic day of September 11 whereby al-QaidaTerrorism brought both the United States and Canada citizens back to reality.
Recent transcripts from this pretrial lay out terrorist plans by this group to bomb and massacre innocents in order to get their point across.
Canada which had abolished Capital Punishment as inhumane and barbaric, should certainly rethink their stance in this special case if ever something like this ever comes to fruition, when a murderous group of terrorists barbarism plan was to rival the death and destruction of 9-11 innocents in their attempt to make a name for themselves and Islam certainly calls for severe penalties.
BRAMPTON -- An al-Qaida inspired ring bent on spilling Canadian blood or a hapless F-Troop of tentless campers making frequent trips to Tim Hortons.
Those were the two very different pictures of the 2006 Toronto terror plotters that emerged in court this week as the first trial began for one of the 15 alleged homegrown terrorists netted in a massive police sweep.
The allegations from the Crown, all yet to be proven in court, include a chilling recorded conversation saying it will be "too bad" for the innocent people killed when "the bomb goes off," and another conversation saying the attack will be bigger than the London subway bombings.
A transcript of a videotape seized by police, shows one speaker urging followers to strike back at North American society, comparing it to Rome.
"Rome has to be defeated," the speaker said. "And we have to be the ones that do it."
Defence lawyer Michael Moon, representing one of the adult accused, fired back, filing a very different version of events, also yet to be proven in court, that challenges the Crown's evidence for the first time publicly.
He characterized the alleged Jihadist training camps as hapless winter survival boot camps where some of the men were scouted -- without their knowledge -- to be groomed for a Canadian terror plot.
Most of the marching was to keep warm or to go on one of many Tim Hortons runs, Moon said.
The main trial itself won't begin until May 27 as lawyers spend the next few weeks arguing over the constitutionality of the terror laws and the admissibility of police wiretaps.

Barry Artiste, I like this story. It's good stuff.
Officials in the U.S. are warning people not to be complacent here, either. There are several cases of apprehended terrorists ongoing now. You have to stop and think about those that haven't yet gotten caught.
We have a worldwide relief organization headquartered in this region. For quite a while now, they've had to have high-level security because of threats and dangers. You see, they're a Christian group that supports and tries to rescue those persecuted for their beliefs.
What they apparently *need* to do is to declare themselves a Muslim relief group with lectures on the evils of Western society. Then they'd be just fine.
One thing people in the leftist segment haven't yet caught on to: how angry "the silent majority" is becoming. While it's lovely to promote oneself as smarter and more intellectual than others, and more caring than others, and so therefore one can "understand" and "care about" special accommodations for radical Musim organizations, the bottom line is that the great silent majority understand survival at a very deep level.
Keep writing this material. For some reason, pop tarts and other pointless stories get a lot of attention; these stories get overlooked and ignored. They're not PC, you know.

My Chief forensic scientist is Muslim, and when he sees people destroying his culture and faith with their terrorist interpretations of Islam and the Koran, infuriates an otherwise intelligent and warm human being. I brought up a question to him the other day that perhaps these radicals enjoy killing their culture and religion in order to bring Nostradamus Forecast made 500 years ago, that the apocalypse and the end of the Human Civilization will end where Civilization began, In the Middle East. He certainly agreed that it seemed so.

It is frightening that the public can become so scared of governmental 'boogeymen', that they would actually call for a re-examination of the Canadian death penalty.
May I remind the author of this article, that nothing actually happened in this case of 'terrorism', contrary to what you imply with the opening line of your article. This case is still progressing through the courts, in which all suspects are innocent until proven guilty. Until they are proven guilty, calls for the death penalty to be re-examined are more on par with a witch-hunt than they are with a 'civilized', 'modern', or 'informed' society.
Let us remember that the sensational allegations from the government are just that - allegations. They remain to be proven, and the government has a long history of claiming such sensational things without any basis. Google search Operation Shock, Project Thread, or Operation Kabriole. These are all instances where 'terrorism' was either fabricated by the RCMP, or where it was intended to be used to their advantage.
You speak of 9-11, and the emotions it evokes. But hold on! 9-11 was the ONLY time in history that steel-structured buildings collapsed, at free-fall speeds, symetrically, and into their own footprints into dust. If You examine the physical evidence, the only explanation is that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were levelled in a series of controlled demolitions. Readers of this may not believe it at first, but watch a documentary. Then, compare it to the 'official' explanation, which is physically impossible. You can argue that a plane hit the building, you can argue that Osama directed the attacks, but you cannot argue that those were not controlled demolitions. That fact implies foreknowledge of the attacks. See where that information takes you.
But in regards to this aprticular instance of Toronto terror, check out the documentary Unfair Dealing on Youtube. You may be surprised.

I guess you being from Tarantaw, says it all.

I state in my story if ever a terrorist act like this ever comes to fruition on Canadian soil then a rexamination of the Death Penalty should be looked at.

I state to you, the reason it did not go through is our Intelligence service caught them before they could act. Do you feel they must behead our Prime Minister to prove your point?

I state with knowledge that these terrorist are caught "Dead to Rights" so it is safe to state a fact they were in progress to act, this from telephone conversations, emails, computer hard drive info etc. As for being alleged terrorists, that is like saying you are an alleged Mental Deficient, when your rants of 9-11 collapsing towers were the result of controlled demolition. These are not alleged terrorists in this case, as you are not an alleged Mental Deficient, as for me I take the word allege out of both you and the accused, thus confirming both as fact.

Barry, you are a funny man. If you are unable to address my comments intelligently, why must you resort to calling me names? And your if 'confirmation' of guilt is simply erasing the word "alleged" from your blog, then I hope you never wind up on a jury. Wow. Barry do yourself a favour and check out the documentaries "Unfair Dealing", and "9/11 Mysteries Part 1: Demolitions"...

No, actually you need to address my story with intelligent commentary not Wild outlandish lefty 911 theories published by UFO syle theorists and other "NEWS OF THE WORLD BATBOY" Crap, and when you do comment on others New stories, try not to take a trip down Idiocy Lane and do not comment on something is not even remotely close to these terrorists.
As for the name calling, I do aplogise, though when it quacks like a duck ..... and there is a village out there actively searching for you.... what else can I say of relevance about you?
