toronto garbage strike the bad

This is the garbage can on the north side of Queen Street at University Avenue which is only one block from the city hall. Yesterday it was over flowed with used coffee cups and water bottle however this morning was all clean up and bagged. No doubt it was clean up by the city managers however all this will end up to the landfill in Michigan. Just imagine with this strike how much recycle and compost material end up in the landfill? What a set back to the Toronto recycle program!
