Total Blitzkrieg or De big bluff?
Monday no real news, Tuesday yes it’s the day we be hearing, yes hearing the Commander in chief his lordship the Royal President Obama of the Imperial U S of A. He will open his speech with why America is in Afghanistan and then praise the US forces for their bravery and laying their lives down for the citizens and families back at home in USA.
He will also add that UN and NATO troops are doing the same for a world free of terrorism and the freedom of the people of Afghanistan.
He will then add that the Allies and Pakistan will work in unison to completely defeat the evil Taliban. Note his weak smile and then that very serious sad eyed look when he states “Many more lives will be lost in the name of freedom”
Then whilst your really glued to your seat he will state how many extra soldiers USA will be pledging to this battle and how many the allies have pledged. Then on the last on chore he will state that 50,000 Afghans military will be deployed and many are being train at this moment etc. etc.
Then he will explain the withdrawal from Afghanistan after the defeat of the Taliban, I expect to hear a three year time line.
In creating this story I have not received information from the white house nor from the US military, its of course creative journalism. My crystal ball is still warm 29,000 troops 21,000 from USA is burned clearly into the glass.
But today I and you will know if I am wrong.
One thing for sure there is great emphasis that Obama will be hoping that the Taliban will want to sign a truce. Then surrender their arms, I believe that the main reason to build up the suspense was to get the Taliban sweating. Its all a bluff that can come to fruit if the Taliban decide to die to the last man. History says they will, history says that the mountain tribesmen never lose.
