Total paralyzed on Friday, in protest against public being killed - Tamil National Alliance [Wednesday January 28 2009 05:50:27 PM GMT] Tamil National Alliance has invited for a complete protest and shops closed on Friday, in the North and East provinces against the killings of people in Vanni. According to information, due to Sri Lanka forces attacks and air raids towards the security zone which was informed by the Government, more than 800 people were killed.

By remembering the death, and condemning the killing, complete protest would be held on 30th in the North and the East was stated by the Alliance.

Meanwhile, condemning the deaths of the Vanni people, from today until further notice, hunger protest is organized at Jaffna St.Marys Church from 9.00 a.m to 3.00 p.m, by Jaffna Bishop and Catholic Clergy.

Jaffna University students have also boycott classes for the past three days, condemning the vanni attacks was stated. Back
