Tourist bus crash on I-80 near Reno: one person dead

A tourist bus has crashed on the Interstate 80 near Floriston, Reno: one person has been killed and dozens have been injured.

I-80 is closed in both directions until about 1pm this afternoon. Details are still coming in about what happened, but several medial helicopters have arrived to transport passengers to the nearby hospital.

“So far we have one confirmed fatality,” Dinger said. “Some passengers on that bus were also injured. We don’t have an exact number, but right now they’re saying 20 to 25 people were injured.”
