Town Hall Laughs At GOP Rep. Todd Tiahrt's Health Care Lie

There have been numerous lies coming from the Republican party over the past few months regarding health care reform. They have claimed it will kill old people, kill babies and give care to illegal immigrants. The American public may be tiring of the fearmongering, as one town hall in Kansas was.

At a recent Kansas town hall, Kansas Republican Congressman Todd Tiahrt falsely claimed that Democrats want to establish a panel to set doctors’ pay rates.

“[They're] gonna set up a committee to determine what every doctor in America will make,” he claimed. “They will set that fee, every doctor will make the same …”The audience erupted into laughter and boos.
