Trae tha Truth was shot outside a club in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. The Houston-based rapper was sent to hospital where he was treated for a gunshot wound. According to reports, three persons were killed and another wounded in the Trae tha Truth shooting.


Houston's "King of the Streets," Trae Tha Truth, has been shot, according to early reports. The rapper born Frazier Thompson III was one of five people wounded at Scores Cabaret, an after-hours club in Southwest Houston. Three of the victims died at the scene, MyFoxHouston.com reported on Wednesday (June 20).

An associate of Trae tha Truth tweeted the following message early Wednesday. "Everybody TRAE is ok. Minor gunshot wound."

The tweet also featured a photo of a member of Trae's crew in a hospital gown.

Police have no suspects in the shooting.
