'Transport patients to governor's office'

CEBU CITY -- Patients from Cebu Province who are not in an emergency situation will not be served at the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC). They will instead be sent to the governor's office.

Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña instructed CCMC management to transport all patients who are from the province to Capitol, except those needing emergency treatment.

Tomas has a sense of humor and of course he will not carry this action through because every patient is dealt with rich or poor as an emergency, however he is after funding and some land swaps from the Capital of which he will never be supplied because of the long vendetta between the Garcia and Osmania political clans. The capital has just published it assets.

This sort of long time disagreement shows one of the main problems concerning political clans in the Philippines. Some time, well mostly this means its the citizens that suffer because of greed corruption, and power struggles and constant vendetta's.

But to be fair Tomas does get things done and has been very good in some avenues of progress of new infristucture in Cebu City. Most citizens of the city like him but all are amused at the way he sometimes gets his way and gets things done. I know his wife better than I know him she loves him to hell a back but sometimes is not amused by his behavior as the mayor or to the fact that he threw the Christmas tree out of the house one year. yes I believe he is an atheist or an agnostic. He is defiantly arrogant but adds to his flavor as a mayor that gets things done.

Over the years he has became my local hero due to the amusement of his actions and how he has the knack of rubbing those that oppose him up. He wins most battles and loves to show up the governor of Cebu.

This is of course one more attempt secretly I believe both he and Gwen Garcia the governor respect each other in a very unusual way as opponents in a never ending battle of wits each adding humor to each and every situation.

Gwen in fact is a good governer she does a lot of good in the provence but her family is corrupt and made a lot of money out of politics.
