Tribal Union of Journalists condemned attack on pak Journalists
LANDIKOTAL : Tribal Union of Journalists (TUJ)Khyber Agency chapter
Thursday hold a hurriedly meeting at Landikotal press club in which a
large number of Jamrud,Bara and Landikotal based journalists,political
leaders and dozens of people from different wald of life participated in the meeting .They condemned the
attack on Pakistani journalists by Hindu fanatics in India and
demanded of the Indian government to take serious action against the
hands behind the incident.
TUJ Khyber Agnecy President Khalil Afridi and General Secretary Yaqub
Afridi in a joint chaired session said that attack on Pakistani
journalists is directly attack on the honour and dignity of our home
land.The journalists community had fastened black tap on their hands
to record their deep concern over the immoral attack on Rahimullah
Yousazai and other Pakistani journalists.
The meeting was also attended by social circle and political
leaders.they passed a resolution through which they would urge all the
world journalists to condemn the attack with strong words.TUJ demanded
of the Pakistani cable net workers to stop showing the Indian channels
as a protest until and unless Indian government not appologize on
it.The TUJ members said that it was intolerable act and demanded of
the Pakistani government to force Indian government to probe the case
very sincerely.Journalists of the Tribal areas worded Shri Ram Sena as
sabotaging figure of the relation of both the countries.
The time when the incident took place, senior Pakistan journalist
Rahimullah Yousufzai was presenting paper in the conference.Meanwhile,
Political leaders,Haji Atta Muhammad of PPPP and Akhbar Ali Shinwari
of ANP also condemned of the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to
duly punish the culprits.
The meeting was ended with the hope that Indian prime minister would
take the issue seriously and give exemplary punishment to the
attackers allegedly belonging to Shri Ram Sena after a proper inquiry.
