Kazuya Ito, a 31 year old Japanese Agricultural Aid worker with an NGO in Afghanistan was kidnaped earlier and as I reported initially he was supposed to be released Yesterday after locales protested the Kidnaping in large numbers. It did for a time look as all would end well and Kazuya Ito be allowed to go free, however for reason yet unknown the Taliban shot him to death in the stomach and legs and left his body in the mountain on the road side like some leave a garbage bag out. Kazuya Ito his Body has now been Identified and where we all had still been hopeful a couple of hours ago, now we morn a brave Young Man that set out as a volonter to help those in need and dispear in a country that has been ravaged by wars for now over 25 year, one generation of war is in deed a long time and leaves its scars with all, even the most gentle of humans.
Kazuya Ito knew the risk as his Mother said in tear earlier, and yet he went because he believed that it was more important to help others, then not to out of fear. Man like him are the true heros of this madness we call war and may that be any sort of war. Kazuya Ito deserves to be remembered and his exemple needs to be followed if we want peace to come to countries such as Afghanistan.

Local resident: Body seems to be Ito
A local resident, who knows Ito well and was joining the search for him, reportedly said the body appeared to be that of the Japanese aid worker.
Local police are trying to identify the body.
About 700 people, including local police and residents, resumed the search at the crack of dawn on Wednesday. They were expanding the search operations to areas close to the border with neighboring Kunar Province.
A spokesperson of the Taliban told NHK on Tuesday that their group was responsible for the kidnapping.
The spokesperson said that any foreign national in Afghanistan who cooperates with the United States will be considered an enemy, even if they are in the country to help rebuild it.
