I hope that everyone reads this article and gets a sense of how this invasion and this ongoing violence in Gaza is affecting the regular civilian population, who are being punished for simply living (under Hamas.)

How much worse can it get? After a horrifying week, the Israelis have arrived once again at our doorstep. What now? Already we have experienced so much terror and want.

When the Israeli strikes first began, my wife and I were worrying about lentils. She said we could not have lentil soup for lunch because there were no lentils in the shops. Nor any rice or flour. Suddenly there was a deafening noise, followed by a succession of blasts the likes of which I had never experienced. Our house was rocking, the windows rattling in their panes.

Yep, we should fear the worst. Fighting isn't the solution.

The historians of tomorrow may very call the present attacks by Israel on Gaza a holocaust. This is not war, nor self defence. It is genocide of the Palestinian people by the Israeli Government and Army.

"I hope everyone reads this and realises how much Germans are being punished for happening to live under the rule of heir Hitler." Give me a break: Palestinians have been rocketing Israeli civilians for several years now and killing many. It is now payback time just as D-Day was payback time for the Nazis in WWII.

Sure, let Hamas keep targeting Israeli civilians with their rockets but heaven forbid a Gazan civilian should be hit, probably because their hiding rockets in their home.

What the Gazans do best is whine.  If you're going to fire rockets across the border you have to expect retaliation.  Why do Gazan's think their immune from this?

Why is it when Gazans whine about how bad they have it or how evil Israel is, they never mention the rockets Hamas fires into Israel?  How Hamas targets schools and apartment buildings?  They never mention that.

Israel has a right & responsibility to eliminate terrorist groups that threaten it's population.
