Tropical storm Danny is currently over the Bahamas, east of capital Nassau. It is still in the process of forming in the Atlantic Ocean with maximum winds reaching 45 miles per hour. Currently, Danny is on a path very similar to that of Hurricane Bill with expected landfall over Northeastern U.S. and Nova Scotia, Canada. Danny can potentially turn into a hurricane by the end of the week.

“There is a possibility of a landfall in the U.S.,” said Eric Wilhelm, senior meteorologist at AccuWeather.com in State College, Pennsylvania. “In the near-term it will be a pretty slow mover.”
By early Sunday, Danny was expected to be near the U.S.-Canada border between Maine and New Brunswick.
