Will Pima County, AZ Sheriff Clarence Dupnik go down in American history as the lawman who blew the lid off a covert government-funded torture matrix that advances an extreme right-wing agenda by inducing unstable "Manchurian candidates" to carry out acts of supposed "lone wolf" violence?
The horrific shootings of Arizona U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D) and nineteen others, which left six dead, appeared to be following the old, familiar "round up the usual suspects" script (think "Virginia Tech," "Fort Hood," "Discovery Channel" gunmen).
Soon after the shooting, reports began to circulate that the gunman, apprehended at the scene unharmed, was a "lone wolf" radical, who posted inchoate anti-government rants on various internet sites. Pictures and other descriptive information about 22-year-old Jared Lee Loughner of Tuscon popped up on the news channels well before the official release of his identity.
But then the 75-year-old Sheriff Dupnik apparently went off-script with an ad lib that could signal the beginning of the end of one of the most pervasive, insidious cover-ups in American history...
...what this veteran reporter believes is the unspoken knowledge among some conscientious, ethical law enforcement that a top-secret nationwide multi-agency government-funded program has employed little-known high tech tactics and methods to entrain selected "targeted individuals" to commit carefully choreographed public acts of violence.
The apparent motive and rationale: to justify huge expenditures for homeland security and draconian legislation that has the effect of restricting the civil liberties of those politically opposed to police state tyranny.
"We are not convinced he acted alone," Dupnik said at a press conference, referring to the 22-year-old suspect in custody. "There is some reason to believe he came to this location with another individual.
Dupnik went on to reveal that authorities have a photograph of a man in his 50s whom he identified as a "person of interest." That photo later was released to the public.
"We have an individual we are actively in pursuit of, but I cannot tell you who he is at this point," the sheriff said.
You could feel the jaws drop among other law enforcement officials in the room. This is not the way these events are supposed to unfold. It appeared to me that Dupnik let one very big cat out of the bag, on live TV. What Dupnik appeared to be saying was that shootings involved a conspiracy -- and don't let anyone try to convince the public otherwise with some prefabricated "lone wolf" narrative.
Late Sunday morning, NBC News correspondent Pete Williams, a former U.S. defense department spokesman with an inside line to the thinking of federal authorities, reported that some law enforcement officials were questioning whether the person of interest had anything to do with the suspect -- possible push-back from Dupnik's pronouncements. Then, at an early Sunday afternoon press conference, Sheriff Dupnik himself appeared to back-pedal, saying that "based on information developed since (yesterday), it would appear to us that the person may not have been involved at all" -- but he quickly added that authorities must locate and interrogate the individual to determine whether that supposition is true.
Moments earlier at that Sunday presser, FBI Director Robert Mueller also referenced the need to talk to the person of interest, but did not speculate as to whether authorities now believe the second individual had no involvement in the shootings.
UPDATE: Later Sunday afternoon, the Pima county sheriff's office told reporters that the "person of interest" has been interviewed and cleared of involvement in the attempted assassination of Rep. Giffords. But a spokesman said the office was not prepared to say whether authorities are convinced that the gunman acted alone.
At that initial press conference on Saturday, the day of the shootings, Dupnik issued a bold condemnation of media pundits on radio and TV who punctuate their polemics with incendiary rhetoric.
"We need to do some soul searching," Dupnik told reporters. "It's the vitriolic rhetoric that we hear day in and day out from people in the radio business and some people in the TV business.
"When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government, the anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this county is getting to be outrageous. Unfortunately, Arizona, I think, has become sort of the capital," Dupnik continued.
"We have become the mecca for prejudice and bigotry. It’s not unusual for all public officials to get threats constantly, myself included. And that‘s the sad thing of what’s going on in America. Pretty soon, we’re not going to be able to find reasonable, decent people who are willing to subject themselves to serve in public office.”
Moments later, Dupnik yielded the podium to the FBI special agent in charge of the Tucson, AZ office, Nathan Gray. The G-man said nothing about a second suspect, and not a single reporter pressed him on that point during the Q and A -- clearly, the most stunning revelation to come out of the press conference.

Media commentators interpret Loughner's references to mind control as evidence of mental instability. That may be true; but such references also could indicate that Loughner was aware of extreme techniques of behavioral persuasion, and, like most "targets," could not prevent himself from falling under the influence, becoming yet another "Manchurian Candidate" -- a flawed young man victimized by his own infirmities, and by a heinous covert government-funded program.

Your lying psy ops do not convince me. The Facebook pages of other users can be accessed via "Facebook.com/..." followed by their name. Facebook algorithms automatically search the name and access the page. But in my case, it's always "Facebook.com/" followed by a long number -- a clear sign of a re-direct to the computers of the government's cyber-contractor/censor, Lockheed Martin.
You know that, "The 1," because you are part of the matrix. So I don't expect you'd admit it here.

Not true mate..Maybe if you ever learn how to properly use the thing called a 'computer'; and if possible realize what computer code is, you'll realize that even though your computer can be quite easily manipulated and monitored by the government, it's not happening in the ways you're describing. My computer is also hacked into and monitored 24/7/365. But I know these assholes don't leave to many obvious clues behind as you are suggesting.
I've been a torture victim twice as long as you have said you have been. Show some respect pinhead ! Learn from what I tell you. I know a lot more than you about these issues. You need to learn more about the technologies being used and the actual automated government programs behind and running them. How gang stalking and electronic gang stalking all ties together. SURGEON REVERSES HIMSELF ON WHETHER GIFFORDS BULLET ENTERED FROM THE REAR -- HIS INITIAL INDICATION -- OR FROM THE FRONT, THE APPARENTLY REVISED NARRATIVE?

What the hell is going on here? For the past two days, the account of the shootings seemed to indicate that the bullet that gravely wounded Rep. Giffords entered from the rear and exited from the front forehead.
Now, today, the surgeon who operated on her made a statement that doctors "try to be nebulous" -- his words -- on whether the bullet entered from the rear or the front, but then stated that he believes the bullet entered from the FRONT and exited from the rear of the skull.
I'm about to research his initial statements. I find his use of the word "nebulous" very intriguing.
Did some element of government prevail upon the surgeon to change his story?
Would the disinfo psy ops agents who troll here care to comment? Maybe we'll even get a comment from a real person...

Take a look at the front page of washingtonpost.com right now (1:46 p.m. ET). WaPo says the change in forensic diagnosis comes as a result of the "expertise provided by military surgeons." Great way to lay it between the lines, WaPo.
How grossly incompetent can these Lockheed Martin operatives be? I mean, they not only telegraph their punches -- they are totally ineffectual as they expose their own serial violations of the constitutional rights of American citizens.

1. An ER surgeon is not a forensics expert nor even an expert on the various destructive effects caused by myriad different types of loads used in firearms. Contrary to the obvious ignorant beliefs of laymen as displayed here, it is rarely the actual bullet which causes the most tissue damage in a gun related trauma, it is the cavitation caused by the air pressure of the bullet entering a virtual chamber of flesh. This can often cause what appears to be an exit wound but the bullet never having passed through that second wound and remaining in the body. With large losses of blood obscuring the easy view of damaged flesh, immediate forensics are difficult if not impossible to be called accurate.
This man calls himself an investigative journalist. If that's true I am Porky Pig.

1. The "banning" applied only to full Politico.com, not to the blogs.
2. The "employees" to whom I spoke on the phone, I strongly believe, were not Politico.com employees but, to use your phrase, "program shills" who intercepted the calls.
3. I must be the only Politico.com reader ever permanently banned from posting to full-length articles merely because I posted the same item to multiple threads a couple of times. If Politico.com actually did this, and not "the program" impersonating Politico.com employees, then it was under pressure from men in black who fear the truth coming out.
4. But thanks for publicizing my article about the banning, because I believe it demonstrates the lengths who which a rogue bureaucracy will go to impose draconian censorship on telecommunications in America... like the fact that I got an obviously spoofed "Blocked!" notice when I tried to post to my Facebook page an item about the Giffords surgeon changing his tune on whether the congresswoman's wound entered from the back of the skull or the front. That's how the program works and you know it because you are part of it. Lockheed Martin, working under contract to U.S. Homeland-mil-intel, has satellite offices nationwide that intercept the communications of so-called "targeted individuals," and these units, with Lockheed recruited and trained "team leaders," coordinate the gang stalking communications, the financial sabotage, the street theater as well as the imposter phone banks. They even sabotage ordering on the internet, eliminating lists for desired items. This has happened to me repeatedly. This is how multibillions of taxpayer dollars earmarked for defense and homeland security are spent -- on witch hunts, which include taxpayer-funded disinformation campaigns conducted by the likes of YOU, you parasite.

IIf the doctor lied regarding Gilberts head wound, it follows the pattern that the Military Junta used to cover up their murder of Robert Kennedy. Sirhan Sirhan, the patsy, shot from the front, while a security guard pumped a bullet into the back of RFK's head. Los Angeles' expert coroner, Naguchi, said that there were power burns around the bullet hole at the back of RFK's head. The Miltiary Junta tried to make Naguchi back down, but he didn't. He left it in his autopsy report. America does have heroes -- they're just hard to find during these days of increasing darkness.

Now it comes out (Wed., Jan. 12th) on Fox and Friends that the man who tackled Loughner just happened to have a gun on him. Could it be that Loughner was programmed to shoot the bystanders while the pro took care of the congresswoman with a shot fired from behind?
This whole affair stinks to high heaven. But what really stinks is the lack of media skepticism. Even after the surgeon, on Tuesday, said "we try to be nebulous" about the direction from which the shot was fired. "NEBULOUS?" Is that not a code word? I believe the surgeon may have been trying to send the message that he was under pressure from the government -- and yet no media that I know of picked up on his curious word choice.
We are living under a covert Homeland-military dictatorship that displays apparent disdain for elected officials, and quite frankly I fear for my life and for the safety of my family. THIS is the worst "terrorist" threat faced by America -- from within.

This is not only a violation of my constitutional rights -- it is a FRAUD on those Americans whose telecommunications are targeted by this rogue contractor, working for U.S. Homeland-mil-intel's extrajudicial, fusion center- based Gestapo -- which persecutes Americans deemed by ideologue bureaucrats to be "dissidents" or "undesirables."
How can I be sure of this? Because I used a different browser to check on the comment (to a blog at Politico.com). My comment was nowhere to be found -- and the number of posted comments, 39 at the time, was far greater than the number I saw when I checked the site using my usual web browser.
So I attempted to post the comment again -- using the alternate browser. This time, the comment again appeared to post , as seen over my connection -- but am I still looking at a spoofed, faked page? I can't tell. That's the evil beauty of this fascist censorship regime -- plausible deniability is built into the system.
Let me state once again my intent to file a class action lawsuit against Lockheed Martin and every agency, command and corporation affiliated with the Homeland Security- administered fusion center network, for the serial violation of the constitutional, civil and human rights of extrajudicially targeted American citizens.

I'll say this, the more I learn about Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, how smart, real, and attactive a person she is; and unlike clueless airhead Sarah Palin, politically knowledgeable, I'm beginning to believe she would of had a great chance of possibly running for President one day. Real shame this happened. Loughner may have been somewhat insane, and also possibly a TI, but probably in this case, if found guilty, would deserve the death penalty.
