Tung Wei "Terrence" Pan Makes Secret Nude Tapes of Clients

Cupertino acupuncturist Tung Wei "Terrence" Pan, 34, is accused of secretly making nude tapes of clients as they changed. After a suspicious client tipped off police they raided Tung Wei Pan's computer and found 72 clips of women in various stages of undress. Police think that between 15 and 20 women were victims of Tung Wei Pan's secret nude tapes; his youngest victim was only 15 years old.

Tung Wei "Terrence" Pan faces two charges; a misdemeanor charge of peeping with a device and a second, more serious charge of producing child pornography. The more serious of the charges relates to the unauthorized recording he made of his 15-year old victim. Tung Wei "Terrence" Pan may face more charges if other victims come forward or can be identified from the videos to state the recordings were made without their knowledge or consent.

Forensic computer analysts discovered 72 film clips showing 15 to 20 different women in various stages of undress on Pan's computer at his now-shuttered clinic, the EMAS Center on Bubb Road, Sung said.

But authorities only know the identity of one of the suspected victims, because no one else has come forward. It's likely the female patients didn't even know they were being digitally recorded, Sung said, because the camcorder was hidden in a stack of books.

In November 2008, a patient began undressing in a room and was told to lie down on what looks like a tanning bed, when she saw a little red light and heard a small motor running, Sung said. After her appointment, she went to the sheriff's office to report what she suspected.
