And all through the (State of Illinois) House

Not a creature was stirring

Except for a louse (Gov. Blajogovich)

He was dressed all in black

From his head to his foot

A closer look revealed what seemed to be soot (dirt)

When what to my wondering eyes did appear

But a fist full of dollars he waved in the air

With a twinkle in his eye, he kept muttering the phrase

"I am not guilty and will be with you for many days."
