Twelve arrested for attack on the Sri Lanka Embassy in Norway, FM Wednesday, May 6, 2009 Leave a Comment

(May 06, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Twelve suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack on the Sri Lanka Embassy in Norway, Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagam told Parliament today.

He said that the government expects the Norwegians to ensure that those guilty of the offence are meted out proper punishment for attacking the Embassy premises.

The Minister made the comments while responding to an adjournment question raised by MP Wimal Weerawansa who condemned the attack on the Embassy and accused Norway of being lackadaisical in its approach to punishing those responsible for the embassy attack.

He also said that some in the international community are attempting to exert pressure on the government to save Prabhakaran and that all patriotic MPs should unite against such attempts.

However Minister Bogollagama said there is no interference in the country’s problems by foreigners and that the government appreciated the assistance that the IC has extended to Sri Lanka by way of humanitarian assistance.

The Tamil diaspora in its frustration organizes demonstrations in most of the countries around the world. The main reason, although not too publicized is to ensure that their one time Commander in Chief cum Leader cum almost God and the remnants  of a once powerful army of the most ruthless  terrorist group in the world is saved from total annihilation.  Many excuses are given to cover this main purpose and the diaspora excels in inventing facades for this purpose.

All sorts of demonstrations were organized by the Tamil diaspora all over the world.  The demonstrators had no regard for the law of the respective countries.  They had the audacity to carry a supposed to be terrorist flags by the hundred in countries which had banned the LTTE.  They even had the spunk to fly this terrorist flag of eelam right next to the Canadian flag.  These demonstrations disrupted the normal day to day life of the law abiding and peace loving citizens of the respective countries.

As opposed to most countries (33 countries have banned the LTTE), Norway had a soft corner for the terrorists but failed to secure anything for them through negotiations etc.  Therefore, naturally, the most exasperated of them all was the Tamil diaspora in Oslo.  Here, they decided to take matters into their own hands and raided the Sri Lanka Embassy in Oslo, damaging its doors, furniture and intimidating the few employees who had not fled the scene.

This is only the beginning.  This type of terrorist behavior can become highly problematic.  It is infectious.  All other countries with Tamil terrorist supporters - Beware

"Many excuses are given to cover this main purpose and the diaspora excels in inventing facades for this purpose"

Another imaginative invention is the attack on friendly countries. As part of their scare tactics, the resourceful diasporans staged an attack on Indian and Sri Lankan Embassies in London.

Since China and Pakistan too support the GoSL's fight against LTTE terrorists most daredevils among these LTTE supporters started giving warning to these countries too, saying that the next target will be them. Some of the  LTTE infested websites and forums are overflowing with such warnings.

It is one of the coolest strategy of LTTE is that by breaking glasses and some bricks, countries would stop supporting Sri Lanka's fight against terrorism.

Hundreds of pro-LTTE supporters on Monday vandalised Indian and Sri Lankan High Commissions in London, demanding an immediate end to the Lankan army's offensive against Tiger rebels in the island nation's northern war zone.

Police said they arrested three people for "criminal damage" at the Indian High Commission after they smashed the bullet-proof glasses in the front of the India House, housing the Indian High Commission, at Aldwych this morning.

"Three more were arrested at a larger protest at the Sri Lankan High Commission where two police officers sustained injuries and were rushed to hospital," a spokeswoman of the Metropolitan Police told PTI.

Initially there were about 100 pro-LTTE demonstrators protesting before the Indian High Commission whose rank swelled to over 2,000 at one stage as activists camping at the Parliament houses joined them shouting slogans, demanding immediate ceasefire.

The Indian High Commission said the "incident occurred between 8.15 and 8.30 am and the demonstrators, shouting slogans about the situation in Sri Lanka gathered outside the High Commission premises."

"A few managed to force their way in, when the door was opened to allow a member of local staff in. The crowd, originally about 100 to 150 in number swelled to over a thousand later," it said in a statement.

Read the whole story.  Don't  just write stuff just because your pappa tells you.

You guys are getting frustrated.

Prabhakaran is dead. So, bite the bullet and buckle up. if you are abroad, it is time to give up your refugee status and tell them you don't want the dole and get the hell out of there.

Foreign countries don't like leeches.
