Two blasts heard in Bannu district as Pakistan president urges US to halt strikes
As Pakistan President Asif Zardari termed the US missile strikes as anti-Pakistan and said Saturday evening that such attacks would not be 'tolerated', two severe intensity blasts were reportedly heard early Sunday morning in Bannu district where the US drones were reportedly seen the previous evening.
In the same settled district, bordering the restive tribal region of Waziristan, a US drone attack had killed at least five people a couple of days ago.
President Asif Ali Zardai said Saturday that U.S. air strikes were anti Pakistan steps, which would not be tolerated, and urged America to respect the mandate of people of Pakistan given to the parliament.He said that these types of activities from U.S. were falling the popularity graph of America in the country.
This president said when Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani called on President Asif Ali Zardari here in President House on Saturday COAS apprised the President about his recently concluded visit to Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Brussels.
Sources said that two also discussed about the briefing to be given to the parliamentary committee for the implementation of National Security’s resolution.
Two strong intensity blasts have been hared in Banu district on early Sunday that triggered panic among masses while the places of blasts is being looked for, police sources said.No loss of life was reported in the preliminary reports of the blasts.

I do not think that the US will pay attention to any thing the Pakistani President may or may not say or ask for.
The US governments have a long record of disregarding any once opinion but there own.

Yes, they would never pay any heed to 'said' or 'asked' but would have no choice but to pay attention to anything 'done.'
