U.S. Censors Net While Obama Lectures China On Net Censorship
NOTE: The link to this story was maliciously altered. This re-post hopefully will restore full access to this article, which apparently is the target of censors.
• More apparent "stupid 'humint' surveillance tricks" by rogue operatives at Homeland Security-administered "fusion centers."
GET POLITICAL w/ VIC LIVINGSTON
Certain government agencies made a liar out of President Obama in his remarks to student leaders in China yesterday -- and I bet he and his people won't be too happy when they find out about it here.
Monday morning (Nov. 16th), while speaking to a group of students in Shanghai, Obama lectured the Communist Chinese government over its censorship of the internet. He was responding to a question from a brave Chinese student about China's "great internet firewall." The student was one of about a thousand hand-picked by Chinese education officials to attend the event.
According to an account on the Guardian web site, Obama described himself as "a big supporter of non-censorship" and said criticism enabled by freedom of expression in the U.S. made him a better president. He also said this:
"These freedoms of expression, and worship, of access to information and political participation – we believe they are universal rights. They should be available to all people, including ethnic and religious minorities, whether they are in the United States, China or any nation."
What Obama didn't say -- or perhaps what he does not realize -- is that the United States government is exercising draconian, even malicious censorship of the internet -- not merely by blocking full access to web sites, but intercepting and censoring attempts to post comments to web articles, even maliciously tampering with the content of attempted postings.
How can I made this allegation? Because for nearly six years, this journalist has documented persistent interference and censorship of his telecommunications -- internet, email, even telephone. This blatant censorship protocol is the apparent mission of operatives at some 70 regional data and information "fusion centers" around the nation, run under the supervision of the Department of Homeland Security.
My personal experiences and my reporting as an apparently "targeted" journalist lead me to conclude that warrantless surveillance programs enacted as "tools" to fight terrorism are being misused by security, military, law enforcement and intelligence agencies as a pretext to harass and censor persons considered to be "dissidents" or undesirables by a covert multi-agency campaign of extrajudicial punishment and persecution -- including silent, health-degrading torture and impairment inflicted by means of classified microwave and laser radiation weapons systems, in one iteration, camouflaged as cell towers.
http://nowpublic.com/world/gestapo-usa-govt-funded-vigilante-network-terrorizes-america
The latest example of this apparent government censorship came this morning as I attempted to post a comment to a political blog known as "The Fix," at http://washingtonpost.com/thefix. Each of three times I attempted to post the comment, I received on my end of the connection a full-screen message stating that the comment was received and is "being held for the blog owner." I have confirmed in the past that The Washington Post does not "hold" reader comments unless its software detects foul language, which was not the case here.
It appears that government censors are re-directing my internet traffic to a "spoofed" or faked Washington Post web site controlled by their computers and software, allowing what the geeks call a "man in the middle attack." This real-time surveillance technology allows the censors to review by internet input, censor it, maliciously tamper with it, or pass it on as originally submitted.
And on my end of the connection, I have no sure way of knowing if what I am looking at on my screen -- an apparently "spoofed" web site to which I have been re-directed -- actually has been posted to the REAL web site as I intended.
I have written extensively about such apparent real-time censorship:
http://nowpublic.com/world/govt-fusion-center-spying-pretext-harass-and-censor
http://www.nowpublic.com/world/parallel-internet-big-brother-screening-censoring-political-blogs
http://www.nowpublic.com/world/political-bloggers-beware-more-signs-big-brother-censorship
And what political speech did the apparent censors deem worthy of their ham-fisted censorship and prior restraint of publication (which the Supreme Court also has deemed unconstitutional)? Here is the comment that "they" apparently do not want you to read -- starting off with a reference to a political fund-raising trip to Arizona by Vice President Biden:
VP BIDEN: PLEASE PHONE HOME
Considering the revelations likely to come out very soon concerning the run-up to the Fort Hood massacre and the government's failure to prevent it, let's hope VP Biden makes it a quick trip and gets back to take care of pressing business in DC.

Now, it's quite possible that as I am writing this, at shortly after 10 a.m. on Monday, November 16th, the surveillance operatives who apparently are monitoring my every keystroke in real-time could decide to go ahead and post my original comment on "The Fix" political blog. I have found that they are like schoolyard bullies; when caught beating up the nerds, they put on their "Eddie Haskell" face and pretend they did nothing wrong. But even if they relent, they still have violated my constitutional rights by exercising prior restraint on my constitutionally-protected freedom of speech -- and freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures (in this case, of my telecommunications).
So what have these ham-fisted frat boy Nazi censors accomplished? Nothing -- except giving me more fodder, more material, to write about in my ongoing quest to take down their blatantly unconstitutional and anti-American "program" -- a program that makes a mockery of yesterday's comments to Communist Chinese students by a U.S. President whose policies, it would appear, are being subverted from within.

Your "business" is your journalism, and as such, your business has been damaged by various things including censorship. Unfortunately, you are only the tip of the iceberg ... the goal is to make all businesses dependent upon the net. After all business is lured into the trap, those that are considered to be "competition" by the power elite (which currently controls the net in a clandestine manner, but will eventually exert overt control) - will be snuffed out. This is end-times talk, and lately KM Albrecht makes many statements alluding to the end of days. For weeks, I have been having dreams about things that subsequently (later in the day) become "talking points" in her show. Now there is some DSS (damned scary stuff) for you to contemplate.

You do know how to bait me into a lengthy post...
I have given what you say much thought, and have written about it as well. Here's an example:
http://nowpublic.com/world/digital-tv-switch-opens-electronic-door-censors-and-spies
Each day I see how easily my work is intercepted, often maliciously tampered with, words and phrases have been changed, typos inserted. or censored entirely. What happens when all print media migrates to the net?
How about the campaign to kill free, over-the-air broadcast television? On the TV trade sites, I am almost a lone voice in expressing my concern that this isn't just a matter of economics, but of CONTENT CONTROL.
And yes, all these totalitarians have to do is to conduct a "man in the middle attack" on the web sites of a targeted company or individual, consign that target's telecommunications to a black hole, and the target is out of business -- or perhaps the goal is to drive people out of business so their competitors can ruin them and take over their businesses. Just as the Nazis did to the Jews in pre-war Germany.
I still don't know how much of my stuff is actually getting out there. It must be, because they wouldn't try so hard to censor me, making their ham-fisted censorship so apparent. And Google, I have found, acts pretty much as a long electronic arm of the intel "community."
Your post has convinced me that I've got to write more about the economic and social control aspects of web censorship. Thanks for the guidance. I suppose you have noticed that I have gone "all in." Failure is not an option.
You do realize, A.G., that because of the interception and malicious interference with my telecommunications -- to the point where I am sure that impostors have popped up on the other end -- I cannot use the telephone, or email, to reliably gather information and interviews. So, much of what I write is based on personal, rather than anecdotal, experience. That's certainly a hindrance in the traditional sense of "sourcing" journalism output. Remember, I am "old school," Columbia J school, where we were taught that you needed at least two independent sources before you should go with a piece of info. Obviously, with the censorship regime that has been imposed upon me, I've got to use another standard -- call it the "personal experience test."
But in a way, I believe it makes my work even more credible, because I don't go with a particular piece of info unless it comports with my personal experiences. I am careful to label my work as "opinion." And while I cannot recite the precise science behind the delivery of electromagnetic microwave/laser/particle beam radiation torture, impairment, and slow-kill homicide, I do know that these systems exist, are in use, and that telecommunications systems, antenna towers and satellites are deployed as both a camouflage and as an integral part of these weapons systems and methods (such as inserting disturbing frequencies and sounds into the digital audio portion of a target's digital television set, something I have experienced).
No one "leaked" all of this to me; no one handed me the story on a platter. As a victim, and as a journalist, I figured it out, tested my theories to my satisfaction, and where mystery remains, I say so. So if any agent types seek to get me to reveal my "sources," they are wasting their time. Not that postings like yours don't contribute valuable information -- such as the report of a poster here that the ex-Honduras president told an American journalist that microwave weapons are used as a means of political torture. I missed that under-reported item, and may not have learned about it but for a posting to these "comments" sections.
Maybe the next time, the genocidal American Nazis should consider targeting persons other than those who are schooled and experienced as investigators. What evil idiots they are. Just like the original Nazis.

MORE CENSORSHIP?
THE FOLLOWING ATTEMPTED COMMENT TO A 'GANG STALKING' WEB SITE ELICITS A 'DELAY' NOTICE SUPPOSEDLY FROM AN EMAIL SERVER...
...BUT THE ATTEMPTED POST WAS TRANSMITTED BY A WEB FORM, NOT EMAIL.
More apparent clumsy censorship psy ops?
I tried to post this to the "Freedom from Covert Harassment and Surveillance" web site (which, by the way, appears to be a so-called "honeypot" site operated by the very forces that are extrajudicially harassing and torturing unjustly targeted Americans -- apparently a psy op (psychological operation) used to spread disinformation and to harvest "humint" (human intelligence surveillance data).
I did NOT use email to transmit the message; I used the site's own web form on its own web site, NOT conventional email. But the message I received appears to come from an email server -- apparently a transparent canard used by government censors. And it references an email address -- even though I did not send the posting via any email program.
Here is the heading from the message I received:

FICTION WRITER's 2009 NOVEL PLOT-LINE LASERS IN ON CELL TOWER-DELIVERED DIRECTED ENERGY WEAPONS ATTACK SYSTEMS
• Can mainstream media exposure of this heinous apparatus be far
behind?
Many real victims have theorized for years that a nationwide
infrastructure involving cell towers and satellites is the main
delivery mode for microwave/laser radiation attacks on targeted
American citizens.
While doing a Google search on "cell towers" and "directed energy
weapon," I happened upon the novel discussed here, also available as
a free ebook. Does this author, who has worked in "business
intelligence," have an inside line?
All I know is that the book was published only this year, and I've
been theorizing for more than a year (and have concluded beyond
reasonable doubt) that a cell tower/satellite infrastructure is being
used to torture, impair, injure and physiologically entrain and
enslave many, many thousands of Americans in EVERY county and state in
the USA.
His plot line revolves around "terrorists" who have seized control of
this system for nefarious purposes. To me, that sounds like the kind
of planted "psy op" counter-argument that would be used as a cover
story if the real intent -- an officially-devised political and social
genocide -- was ever exposed. Doubtful that our government would
ever be so sloppy and incompetent as to design and implement a highly
destructive nationwide technology that could be hijacked by
"terrorists." After all, even nukes haven't been used by real
terrorists (at least, not yet). It again raises the question: Are
there "terrorists" within the bureaucracy?
I'm about halfway through this novel, which can be found at:

COULD IT BE THAT THIS AUTHOR IS GETTING TOO CLOSE TO THE TRUTH? IS THAT WHY THE POSTING WAS "DELAYED"?
Now, I wouldn't be surprised if the original post suddenly appears as I am posting this comment to my blog site. And that would be fine with me -- because either way, my point is being made...

AND THE HAM-FISTED, OBVIOUS CENSORSHIP APPARENTLY CONTINUES...
My publication of this latest article on U.S. government censorship of telecommunications and the internet and the use of telecommunications as a harassment and torture tool has had little practical effect on the censorship regime that has been imposed upon me -- and, no doubt, millions of other unjustly targeted Americans.
Some recent examples: I apparently have been prohibited from signing up for social networking sites such as MySpace.com. I especially want to join MySpace so I can post comments to a blog about the Everly Brothers, a blog which appears to be hosted by the Everlys themselves, who are among my musical heroes.
I wonder aloud whether some official campaign of character assassination has caused authoritarian internet censors to effect an across-the-board electronic banning of any attempts I may make to log onto this or similar sites, such as Facebook. These sites have become key vehicles for many businesses, notably in the music and entertainment business. Since I follow the telecommunications business, I need access to all available information. My constitutional rights continue to be infringed upon, and when President Obama criticizes the Chinese for their censorship, I respectfully suggest that he get the American house in order.
Also, I attempted today to sign up to cbs.com so I can post comments to network blogs. Repeated attempts were unsuccessful. I discovered "block" cookies installed in my browser, unbeknowst to me. I removed those blocks, and still I could not join cbs.com.
When I tried to access NBC.com, which I had accessed successfully several months ago (to post a random comment to Jay Leno's blog), my password was not accepted. I submitted a "change password" request. I received an email from "mycbs.com" assigning me a numerical password -- when the site appears to indicate that users can choose their own password.
Also, there is no official "mycbs.com" web site. When I enter those letters into my brower, I am re-directed to "my.cbs.com," which I believe may be a "spooted" government site to which targeted citizens are re-directed...
...just as when I attempt to log into my own blog pages at "nowpublic.com/scrivener," my browser indicates that I am re-directed to "my.nowpublic.com."
I cannot access "nowpublic.com" with this Firefox browser. Yet, when I open the "Safari" Apple browser, I can access nowpublic.com without being re-directed to "my.nowpublic.com."
However, lately at least, when I try to use "Safari" I invariably get the "endless beachball" spinning icon, preventing me from using that browser, forcing me to use "Firefox" (apparently because that browser accepts re-direct commands from surveillance operatives).
The evidence strongly indicates that my constitutional rights are continually being violated by the Homeland Security-administered MAGLOCLEN fusion center, one of 70 such centers organized as non--profit organizations BUT funded by the U.S. Department of Justice and other federal agencies. These fusion centers also involve private corporations. This, I believe, is the dictionary definition of FASCISM -- government funding of "private" entities used to deny constitutional rights to the citizens whose tax dollars are funding the enterprise.
I will continue to campaign for the elimination of this fusion center network as an unconstitutional infringement upon civil and human rights, and a violation of the 10th Amendment, which reserves local law enforcement powers to the various states.
I also hold these entities, as well as various agencies of the federal and local government, legally liable for these constant infringements upon my constitutional, civil and human rights. If anyone reading this can help mount a class action lawsuit against the offending parties, please attempt to get in touch by posting contact information here. You can try to email me at scrivener50@verizon.net, but I find that my telecommunications are subject to constant interception, censorship and malicious tampering.
MAGLOCLEN covers a vast portion of the United States and Canada. In my opinion, it is a rogue, criminal enterprise itself that is engaged in the commission of human rights atrocities and infringements that involve electromagnetic torture and impairment of American citizens as well as pervasive surveillance, community "stalking" harassment, and other acts of domestic terrorism. Those who are similarly aggrieved, please post here, with contact information.
Disinformation agents need not apply.

So I guess I should post my comment here also.
I may have just been a victim of that kind of censorship. On Obama's myspace page I tried to post this:
Mr. President, go search high and low (especially low and below) on Bush's ranch in Crawford Texas and I believe you will find Osama Bin Laden. Something you're looking for is not just in the last place you look, but in the last place you'd THINK TO LOOK! I'm positive he has him stashed in some underground Hilton...oops I meant bunker.
When I hit submit, I got:

For the most part, it seems that "conspiracy" movies are often the result of the efforts of a few producers working in smallish firms considered (by the establishment) to be "rogues". An exception or two can be found in the art of so-called eccentric producers (Kubrick, perhaps?), and a few comedic follies that certainly must have "official propaganda" embedded somewhere in the credits. The most popular movies in the genre, as tabulated in a cursory (twenty minute) internet canvasing effort, are "The Net -1995", "Conspiracy Theory - 1997", "The Bourne movies - 1980-present", "Enemy of the State - 1998", "Eyes Wide Shut - 1999", "Freedom to Fascism - 2006", and now "Shadow Government - 2009". I've managed to see only one of the Bourne series, so my "Conspiracy" credentials are not impressive. "Eyes Wide Shut" was a surprise (I did read reviews), until I visited solari.com/archive/databeast - an article by one Catherine Austin Fitts.

Tony Scott, director of "Enemy of the State," obviously had a scriptwriter with an inside line. The movie presaged everything that's happened to me, absent the microwave/laser irradiation attacks. He's now doing a hit series for ABC with his brother, Ridley. I found his web site and tried to send him links to my stories; he should update "State." I never heard back, probably because the email was intercepted. If you have a few idle minutes, please try to reach him for me and please give him the link to these pages, with special attention to the "Gestapo USA" article and the "Domestic Torture Via Radiaton Weaponry" piece. I will again try to hunt down the link to his web site, which is a production company site he shares with his brother Ridley.
Since my career has been destroyed along with my livelihood, maybe I can get back on the road to restoration by selling him adaptation rights... something positive has to come out of this. I say that as I recover from an afternoon of severe attack, including a powerful jolt to the right temple at 2:30 p.m. that knocked me for a loop. This is torture in America and I have no one to help stop it.

Or maybe you saw the movie first?

That's IT! And I'm sure that's why I never heard back from Cindy Crawford about that marriage proposal!
I will again try to hunt down the link to his web site, which is a production company site he shares with his brother Ridley.
Something tells me we're soon to see another "journalist falsely arrested on STALKING charge" article again....
Since my career has been destroyed along with my livelihood,
How can anyone destroy what never existed? Google still doesn't come back with a single example of your "work" before last summer when your OS story began.....
maybe I can get back on the road to restoration by selling him adaptation rights...
And what will you do with the money? Finally buy a video camera and catch the people you claim enter your home while you sleep.... A file cabinet so you can't lose all the forged documents you claim to have received.... a still camera to document the "dark skin patches" resulting from DEW attacks?
This is torture in America and I have no one to help stop it.
This is what most of us are saying as well. The best we could ever do would be to capture the attention of an experienced investigative reporter.
You claim to be one yet all you've done is complain and act pathetic, uninterested in compiling a scant bit of evidence. You want to stop nothing and enjoy having something to write about.
I'd like to knock you for a loop alright.
at 05:45 on December 2nd, 2009
Actually, I didn't see the movie until sometime after 2004, after the effects of my targeting overwhelmed my life.
Thanks for once again revealing your mission, as an operative of this torture matrix, not its victim.
More lame psy ops to amuse our nation's intel professionals... but unfortunately, this is no laughing matter, and the good people on the inside must act -- now -- to put an end to this.

A tradition among certain authors and screen writers, when confronted with a particularly nasty, but publicly unacknowledged phenomenon (OS comes to mind), is to portray the essence of that problem within the context of the plot line of a "fictional" work. Aaron Russo's image pops into my head when I think about this theme, because his later life provided strong, but circumstantial evidence that "Trading Places" was closer to his experience than he ever admitted. I probably should have added that one to the aforementioned movie list ... talk about your gang-stalking experience!
at 05:49 on December 2nd, 2009
Please don't be coy. Which one, and how would you know this? If insiders know this, then they know enough to do something to stop the the slow-kill torture that I continue to experience. I'm getting tired of waiting for the "good people on the inside" to do the good and right thing... maybe they're not as "good" as I would like to believe? Say it isn't so...

Would you like to address this?
Since my career has been destroyed along with my livelihood,
How can anyone destroy what never existed? Google still doesn't come back with a single example of your "work" before last summer when your OS story began.....
a 30 year career of investigative journalism which a trace of cannot be found?

You went way over my head with that! I suppose that I am appropriately chastised, and I should stay more closely attuned to the thread topic. I think that censorship is a bigger obstacle for us than pretty much anything else. Because the propaganda machine hates competition, and is working furiously to eliminate it, I'm beginning to believe that "activists" websites, being for the most part "black-holed" into oblivion, are a waste of time (and money). I'm afraid we will require more "guerrilla genre" effort ... such as the movies that are portrayed as "fictional", when they are not entirely fictional, which is a means by which to circumnavigate censorship. We need to devise some means by which to "float" websites such that they cannot be so easily censored. An entirely new protocol is required for this. Speaking of protocols, the latest "fusion" info coming out of HD is the "Secret Internet Protocol Router Network", by which the tentacles of the fusion operation will be tied together. Google it.

You are right but perhaps don't understand why.
If such movies were to proliferate it would help our cause because the public would only then begin to accept it as reality.
sad but true.

In terms of a "floating website" protocol -- it would rely (at intermediate levels) on cryptography. Recent "committee considered" legislation at the federal level would require a federal license to disseminate cryptography. It certainly looks like there is a preemptive maneuver planned to ward off potential chinks in the censorship armor. There is a push for a move towards IPv6, thus far unsuccessful, which provides for more control over the internet than the current IPv4. Our efforts would be in directly the opposite direction -- to use IPv4 in the most loosely coupled fashion that is possible.
