A section of the leftists in the United States is blaming the Central Intelligence Agency of fomenting trouble in Iran, but other progressives are accusing their own kind of becoming apologists of the theocracy.

Iran situation has left the political left in the United States confused as it is unsure how to say no to American intervention in affairs of sovereign nations, but still support the ending of the 30-year-old theocracy.
