Investigators and Associates have released information
on the accused Hwi Lee whose threats caused the UBC University Campus to go into Lockdown. Recent shootings on North American University Campuses had University students, administrators and police on edge, frantically trying to figure out who would do it and the motive which is still unclear.
Hwi Lee, who immigrated from Korea years ago is described before the Threats incident as extremely intelligent leaving many to wonder what possessed him to cause the chaos he did?
RCMP Inverstigators from the Homicide and Sexual Investigations Units were sent to investigate, leave me with one conclusion, since there was no body reported in the media, perhaps a spurned relationship and a harrassment warning by UBC may have been the cause of the threats.
But then that is speculation.

Hwi Lee was arrested on Friday by members of the "E" Division Serious Crime unit and the UBC detachment, the RCMP announced at a news conference Monday morning.
Lee, a first-year science student at UBC, graduated from Gleneagle Secondary School in Coquitlam.
