It's been a while since we had a good Parliament fight. Usually, Taiwan is kind enough to give us the occasional political throwdown, but this time our friends in Kiev were happy to oblige.

During a May 18, 2011 session of the Ukraine parliament, Adam Martynyuk tried to beat up deputy Oleg Lyashko during a session in the chamber of the Ukrainian parliament.

The Ukraine parliament brawl video shows Martynyuk grabbing Lyashko by the throat and throwing him to the ground.

According to reports, Lyashko asked Martynyuk for permission to make a speech. Martynyuk wasn't having it, denying the speech on procedural grounds. Lyashko apparently called Martynyuk a name and then it was on like Donkey Kong.

We would have liked it if Martynyuk took after a Chicago state politician and started reciting Wu-Tang Clan lyrics after the fight.
