UN aid flights to Burma under way

The UN says its first aid flight has now arrived in Burma, bringing much needed relief to up to one million people made homeless by Cyclone Nargis.
flights had been delayed because of Burma's reluctance's to accept help which is causing international concern. However the US and other countries have not been given permission to fly aid into Burma to help those in need. There have been more than 22,980 people killed by Nagis but there are fears that the figure will rise to 100,000.

Unbelievable how the govenment admitted that they cant handle on their own and now they are not willing to accept help. Feels like they do not care too much about their own. *sigh*

It just makes you wonder what kind of thoughts run in people's head sometimes. They are their own people for God sake!. Maybe they think the west will be taking this opportunity to plan a surveillance on their corrupt and oppressive Military regime. I simply think they don't know the value of human life because there is no way a human being with brains will behave like this towards their own people. Oh I almost forget that they leave in flood free houses with their family while the rest of the people struggle for even 1 square meal a day.
