Caracas, Venezuela, 30 June 2009. After hearnig his intervention at the UN General Assembly in New York, delegates approved by unanimity a  "resolution calling for the reinstatement of ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya". "The resolution calls "firmly and categorically on all states to recognise no government other than that" of Mr Zelaya. It was co-sponsored by a group of Latin American and Caribbean nations and was supported by the United States". Momentum is taking pace as the OAS will issue a new resolution today against the imposed tyranny in Honduras.

There is a General strike going on in Honduras. Spontaneous demonstrations for Manuel Zelaya are taking place now. They intend to walk towards the Presidential Palace in Tegucigalpa.  As Radio and TV control have been set up by the current Tyranny, people have used word of mouth to organize their protests. On the other hand, there is also a pro Tyranny demonstration taking place. As ordered by Tyrant Roberto Micheletti, it is broadcasted by the intervened Honduran local media.

President Zelaya is expected in Tegucigalpa on Thursday. He will be escorted by the Presidents of Ecuador, Rafael Correa and the Argentinean Head of State, Cristina Fernandez. The OAS Secretary General and the President of the General Assembly, Miguel d`Escoto, will also accompany Zelaya.   In reaction, the Honduran tyranny has issued a detention order against Manuel Zelaya.

Tyranny, Tyranny, Tyranny, Tyranny, Tyranny...Kindly invest in a thesaurus.

tyrant carries modern connotations of a harsh and cruel ruler who places his or her own interests or the interests of a small oligarchy over the best interests of the general population which the tyrant governs or controls... Sounds like Manuel Zelaya to me.

Take your head out of the sand brother.

A text from my family in San Pedro Sula not 5 min ago..."a 5.3 shake this am"..."The building were newspaper office stands, was vandalized by Mel zelaya activists"... "Friends who gathered to protest were hurt with stones and sticks"..."we are all sending emails supporting our new president"

This answer smells like black propaganda as it recounts an unverified event. I guess it aims to mislead readers over the coup in Honduras. Readers should  be aware that OAS has started the application of Article 20 of the Democratic Charter. The Tyranny would has been granted 72 hours to reinstate President Zelaya in power. He is to travel to Honduras on Saturday.

That's right rahul... you guess. You know absolutely nothing... If Zelaya is stupid enough to return...and so far he has demonstrated ample lack of anything bordering on intelligence...he will be impeached and thrown into prison. From what I've heard of Honduran prisons, I'd rather be rolling cigars like you. Good luck in your love afair with Hugo.. JaJa

Interim Honduran President Roberto Micheletti Wednesday accused Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez of intervening Honduras' affairs.

"The intervention of the government of Hugo Chavez is clear and definite in the situation that Honduras is experiencing," Micheletti said.

Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was removed from office in a military coup Sunday afternoon, just hours after some 200 soldiers surrounded his official residence in the Honduran capital and forced him to board a plane to Costa Rica after a referendum scheduled for Sunday on changing the country's constitution has put Zelaya at odds with the military, the courts and the legislature.

The Honduran Congress announced later Sunday that Micheletti would replace Manuel Zelaya as the country's acting president.

Chavez called the coup "troglodyte," saying his nation would not recognize anyone other than Zelaya.

The Organization of American States (OAS) has also condemned the coup and earlier on Wednesday gave the coup leaders in three days to reinstate Zelaya, saying otherwise the country will face the suspension of its OAS membership.

"Why didn't the OAS and others understand what was happening in Honduras?" Micheletti said at his Wednesday press conference.

"We have the strength and the faith" to overcome the difficulty and that "the whole world will recognize what we had done was in favor of legality, the rule of law and the constitution of the republic," Micheletti said.

At least 42 people have been arrested for defying the nation's curfew, part of martial law that began on Sunday night, police spokesman German Rivera told media on Wednesday.Tegucigalpa police arrested 39 people and police in Talanga, northeast of the capital, arrested the remaining three, Rivera said.

Media had earlier reported at least 270 arrests, across the nation for all incidents the followed Sunday's military coup. Two people have died in the capital protesting the government of Roberto Micheletti, who took over the presidency on Sunday afternoon after Manuel Zelaya was seized by soldiers and forced onto a plane to Costa Rica in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Rivera said that the Supreme Courts of Justice and Tegucigalpa broadcaster Radio America had both suffered attacks from grenades that did not explode. Rallies both for and against Zelaya are taking place across the nation on Wednesday, but there have been no reports of violence. Thousands of Zelaya supporters have taken to the streets and clashed with soldiers and police who are trying to restore order. On Tuesday, authorities renewed the martial law declaration, which imposes a curfew from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Rahul your blind and stupid if you actually believe the crap your saying, Zelaya uses
the constitution for toilet paper and when the SUPREME COURT removes him from office
you call the interm President a tyrant!! I agree with you Zelaya has done some good
things for Honduras but not lately because he's too busy raking in money from his
buddy Hugo and sniffing the same stuff he's importing and exporting for the same guy
who shipped in the ballots for an illegal vote to insert himself in as a Dictator!
In conclusion if you actually believe the rhetoric your saying it sounds to me that you
want to live under a dictator so I'm sure Cuba would love to have you!! You can roll cigars
all day long for no pay and have no say on how the country is run. Your propaganda is not
helping, wake up and smell the winds of communism ! Your leaning so far to the left I
wouldn't be suprized if you fall over!
