United Nations again warned Sri Lanka on the ongoing genocidal war as the Sri Lankan army intensified the attacks on tamils in recent days.  It is very unlikely that Sri Lanka will bother listening to them, since there is not much pressure to stop the war.

The UN has issued a fresh appeal for a humanitarian pause or lull in the fighting in Sri Lanka to avoid a "bloodbath" on the beaches.

It says such a development in the north-eastern region "seems an increasingly real possibility".

The latest appeal comes as aid agencies are expressing increasing concern over the safety of more than 100,000 people caught up in the fighting.

Why are the LTTE terrorists in the safe zone? Why are they holding the poor tamil civilians hostage? Why won't the LTTE terrorists let the civilians go free? BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THE LTTE WILL BE WIPED OUT! WHAT CHICKEN SHITS!

Why do you see all Tamils as LTTE? If you can't overcome that mentality, then there would be LTTE in 'safe zone'.

and, above all, Did you ever bothered to ask why there is no media in the war zone?!

Then independent sources would actually give the details of Sri Lankan Army attack on civilians, Indian Army presence in war zones and much more in detail, and independently would not they?

What is the main reason for the heavy media ban from the Sri Lankan Government?

It is true that all "LTTE" will be wiped out in Sri Lanka. The only concern that all Tamils are LTTE to the Sri Lankan Government.

The Sri Lankan fiasco is teaching a lesson to its neighbor <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />India.

With the migration of people across the lengths and breadths of India and the growing animosity between different religions, languages and cultures is a warning to reign in the migrants and protect the natives. What’s the assurance that another Sri Lanka won’t take place in South India with the advent of Bollywood and the rampant Hindi culture trying to take over the south? Especially in the state of Karnataka in the south, there is a growing rancor between the locals and Hindi’s of the north. The sky rocketing prices and a soon to hit recession will just tip the feelings over. Will the Tamil’s want a piece of Karnataka too, or a piece of North America where they have made a second home or Norway where there is a large population of Tamils? There is no answer to this only time will tell. Will the Punjab’s want a Kalistan in Canada or Australia?

It’s hard to fathom what might happen in the future.
