UN levels war crimes warning at Israel
War crimes warning for Israel
The Killing of 30 people in Gaza when army shelled house full of evacuees 'has all hallmarks of war crime', says UN high commissioner for human rights.
Unicef said at least 100 children and minors were killed in the first 10 days of fighting
.
The Israeli military may have committed war crimes in Gaza
The Israeli military may have committed war crimes in Gaza, the UN's most senior human rights official said tonight, as Israeli troops pressed on with their increasingly deadly offensive in defiance of a UN security council resolution demanding a ceasefire.
Navi Pillay, the UN high commissioner for human rights, singled out the killing this week of up to 30 Palestinians in Zeitoun, south-east of Gaza City, when Israel shelled a house where its troops had told about 110 civilians to take shelter.
Pillay, a former international criminal court judge from South Africa, told the BBC the incident "appears to have all the elements of war crimes". She called for "credible, independent and transparent" investigations into possible violations of humanitarian law.
110 evacuated , 50 children by Israeli soldiers, house destroyed,
OCHA said the incident took place on 4 January, a day after Israel began its ground offensive in Gaza. According to testimonies gathered by the UN, Israeli soldiers evacuated about 110 Palestinians to a single-storey house in Zeitoun. The evacuees were instructed to stay indoors for their safety but 24 hours later the Israeli army shelled the house. About half the Palestinians sheltering in the house were children, OCHA said. The report also complains that the Israeli Defence Force prevented medical teams from entering the area to evacuate the wounded.
UN security council resolution Israel to withdraw from Gaza ceasefire ignored
Fighting in Gaza has continued despite yesterday's UN security council resolution calling for an "immediate" and "durable" ceasefire and the full withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. The resolution was passed with 14 out of 15 members in support of the resolution. The US abstained from the vote.

If anyone can spot a crime, it's the crooks at the United Nations.

gahooch...Of course, Hamas hasn't committed any war crimes; you know, things like sending suicide bombers into Israel. Exactly this did not happen for a time, so why attack at Christmas the highest celebration in western society, like a bloodthursty warlord, what you are fighting, because it is election time in Israel the War minister a candidate to trust now?
It seems me the behaviour of old nasty women, saying hit my neighbour, because once he hit me, and that is right. No it is not a sign of a developing culture to live out of the past. We would urgently need the contribution of Israel to the emerging problems in the Mediterranen sea , pollution, survey of tankers, green farming solar technology etc. Only why some guys "going by the miracles of the book and resulting event number crunch" say it's not worth keeping the planet alive, the great destruction has to come quickly to make the place for the "Clean-up everything guy", perhaps the greatest error to Non-contribution of this World's problems. We are all responsable for what we do and especially for what we not do sitting in our spirtual safe comfort zone, unable to cooperate with problems of Life. We should stop the war forget, the past and resolve "How to survive together" thanks for writing.

Of course, Hamas hasn't committed any war crimes; you know, things like sending suicide bombers into Israel, lobbing rockets at the civilian population, hiding weapons and fighters in civilian homes, and conducting extra-judicial mutilations and executions of those who don't agree with them. Oh not them, it's all big bad Israel. Hamas would never do anything like that.
And Hamas hasn't rejected the UN resolution, too

BMC....If anyone can spot a crime, it's the crooks at the United Nations. UN is not a sheep to be eaten up by Israel, the Non-respect of UN resolutions disqualifies Israel's present war Lords for a leading Role in the Mediterranean Union. I am sorry for that. The Israeli people have good technology in efficient farming and high tech, and they are not to hold responasable for this Election show from Israeli Defense, sorry Genocide Minister.
