UN official kidnapped, driver killed in Pakistan

There is report coming about the kidnapping of UN official working in the restive southwest Pakistan. Initial reports says that gunmen have kidnapped the regional chief for the UN refugee agency in quetta town of  southwest Pakistan after killing his driver.

Unidentified armed men attacked the car of a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) official, kidnapping him and killing his driver on Monday.UNHCR sub-office Chief John Soloki was abducted by the gunmen in the Chaman Housing area, after they opened fire at his official vehicle, DawnNews quotes Police officials as saying.The officials add that Soloki was leaving for work when the gunmen attacked.The nationality of the UN official has not been confirmed.
