The guy sounds frustrated. I am curious what his financial positions are? If hes unemployed and dosen't have any 401k to speak of, he will benefit greatly from the bailouts. 54% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, This guy is already going to get 20 weeks of extended
unemployment checks due to Obama legislation. He should consider Obama just "Shit canned" Mr. Wagner GM CEO, the first and only CEO ever fired by a standing US president. A shame that Mr. Wagner can never separate himself from. Of course losing $82 billion dollars over 7 years he should have resigned years ago. You could say Obama is a genius but its much simpler, Mr. Wagner is just being held accountable for his indecisiveness and incompetence. The redneck is fairly informed, If he has a mortgage and owns a home then the hyper-inflation caused by the bailouts will mean he pays the mortgage off with cheaper dollars. All this assuming he can keep the home and get a job paying decent money. He will pay more for groceries and consumables. His house will not appreciate for years to come. We are in a class war, investors/capitalist need free trade so US companies can share in the ever growing world trade. Unfortunately Free trade requires US labor to compete with Chinese bonded(slave) labor. Migrant Chinese peasants leave the farm and are charged monthly fees to work 80 hour weeks. If America closes her doors to immigration and Free trade then the country will become stagnant and non-competitive like France. There is no choice but for the American middle class to accept their fate of becoming underclass citizens. A Union strike in China, it will be along time before that happens. There are 200 million Asian and Indian unemployed. The same number of total American workers. Hyper-inflation will stop the American consumer from buying Chinese.
70% of US economy is consumer spending. 30% is government. The best option is to find the most efficient position. Maybe buying a cheap rural home to grow your own food, cheap taxes, small mortgage, no fire insurance. Or fly to the middle east to work if you have a technical skill, etc.

The emotion of his rant is shared by many Americans. I would enjoy forcing AIG executives and this guy into a room together. He talks hardcore about not wanting government healthcare, is he really tough enough to watch one of his kids die in his arms because he can't afford a $30,000 operation? When you see that happen to people it humbles you.
Being hardcore, he locked himself in to the bills when he had kids. Don't complain if you chose to have kids. Children are a precious luxury. But with 7 billion people on the planet they are a over abundant liability. I have always been conflicted between family and work. The more you give to your family the more you have to spend time away earning money. American women are in for a big change, too many years I've seen spoiled wives complain about the husband working to much and then go out and spend the paycheck at the mall. Its been 20 years since I've spent money at a mall. The point is: don't have kids until you are comfortably invested capitalist. Accepting that Obama's government help will promote child bearing with people on welfare, creating future cannon fodder. During the Vietnam war, a platoon of soldiers could be fully funded for $100 per month. The guys would do anything to buy food for their families.(sound familiar). When all the malls close, drugs are too expensive to buy, and half the restaurants close then American will be back on track. I have covered alot of ground, but the redneck is a hypocrite, if he is so independent why does he give rip what the government does? He should go out get a job, create a business, work on his farm, barter if needed with a neighbor. I honestly have plans in place where I can take my family and live without employement. I don't care what govenment does, but I do watch it carefully so I can make the best decision for me.
