Unidentified persons gun down four policemen in Pakistan
Some unidentified persons gunned down four police personnel, including an officer, in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan province.
Four police personnel including a DSP were shot dead by unknown gunmen at Saryab Road in Quetta on Wednesday.
According to sources, unknown attackers riding on a motorbike opened fire on a police mobile near Government Girls Polytechnic college killing DSP Hasan Ali, constable Sifatullah, Nasrullah and driver Muhammad Taqi.
Another DSP Ghulam Muhammad was shifted to hospital where he was reported in a critical condition.
The attackers were managed to flee from the scene. Police have cordoned off the area after the incident.
Earlier, some unknown miscreants had thrown a hand grenade in house of a police constable in Quetta on Tuesday. The house was damaged but no loss of life was reported.
Unknown miscreants threw a hand grenade in a police constable house in Railway Guards Colony located on Joint Road in Quetta on Tuesday, police sources said.
According to police, the constable was identified as Sabir. The explosion ripped through the windows panes while the walls also received minor damages. However, police reported no loss of life in the explosion.
After having collected the evidences from the scene, police kicked off the investigations.
