Tbilisi EU-peace plan signed

Tbilisi, president Saakashvili agreed to EU-peace plan, immediate cease-fire and humanitarian missions. The plan is the base for the UN-resolution said EU president Sarkozy at Tbilisi. Sarkozy, who just arrived from Moscow talks with Medvedev who agreed before to the EU-peace plan (press conference view video). The french exterior minister Kouchner presents the peace plan talk results at Brussels to his collegues from the European Union.

Sarkozy says EU-peace plan is base  for UN resolution...

Sarkozy was proud that the European Union could play a leading mediating role in the crisis. He stressed that he is particularly coordinated with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Merkel will meet on Friday with Medvedev at Sochi on the Black Sea, the russian riviera luxury resort. Sarkozy sees the negotiated Peace plan as a base for the  UN resolution. Today, the  EU foreign ministers have a meeting in Brussels to deal with the document.

EU Europe explainer:
European Union has a rotary system for the president. At the moment an event or crisis happens the "rotary president" acts for all countries in Europe. Each country has the right to act independently, if not agreeing. Europe has no signed constitution at the moment, working on it. Seems difficult to handle, but in practice, as we see, the timesharing president makes an extra mile to convince his colleagues. South-America with the Mercosur union (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay...) wants to adapt the rotary system, so every country can speak....

How merge personal  results in the EU team ?
Congratulations to president Sarkozy for his excellent effort to get the peace plan with french diplomacy on the way. His persistence gave him the Nickname president "Duracell" (the longlife battery advertising). German Chancellor Angela Merkel will fix on friday the "emotional part" of the deal at the Sochi black sea resort meeting with russian president Medvedev ("after sales service"). Merkel speaks fluent English, German, russian giving her the emotional advantage being the best trouble shooter of the EU.

Thanks Paschen, "Saakashvili signed peace-plan", I just invited John Carry for "peace talks", he is not convinced, they will work. That's why I added the EU-explainer to make a rotary presidency system understandable. The transatlantic community has now sufficient space to act; or as CNBC said: "The Europeans figure it out". Learning from the past is sometimes necessary.

Paschen, no tanks heading, wrong info, we both looked TV nothing for "self proclaimed war lords" to eat. Keeping peace the hardest businees on the planet, guess who joined us this minute Bush: "Strongly supporting Europe's peace mission, probably with humanitarian aid flights. Condi Rice on the way to France to support European Peace mission. Everything under control, thanks for being the peace TV watchdog at this critical moment!

The Russian leaders may have been a little focused on Georgia and not noticed right away lights going on all over Europe and America (and other places with Internet access).  It appears this crisis has passed and is becoming part of history.
