UFO's are rarely sighted in third world. They seem to have a particular affiliation with white race and or developed nations. Or is it some bi-product of scientific activities.

If you look @ the CNN footage after they come back to the shot, you will see the UFO hovering over the trees.  It's right before they show President Bush's helicopter flying past the monument.  But this is something that no news reports seem to mention.  Wonder why?  They focus on the first sighting and discount it as a bird.  But they never show the second footage of the craft hovering over the trees.  Hope this link will post.  This is the entire footage.  Watch it and decide for yourself.  http://www.mahalo.com/Inauguration_UFO

Well, it is not true that UFOs are not seen in the third world, in fact one of the major cases that was studied by the late psychologist John Mack was in a school in the Ariel School in Zimbabwe. Make a search for videos on Youtube and you'll find some very interesting ones. Make also a search for "John Mack" and "alien" and you will find surprising information.

In my view, there was no UFO at the Obama inauguration, it was an insect that came too close to the camera (or lens focal length setting). You can definately see in good quality video that the shape crosses over (or in front, which ever you prefer) the monument in the background, not behind as many have stated. Being a photographer myself, I can assure you that many insects passing by at high speed can take that shape in front of a lens, depending on shutter speeds and distance particularly if the image has gone through some form of compression (imediately loss of quality issues with internet videos come to mind, which led many to come to that conclusion).Even with broadcast grade cameras it is difficult to judge in many cases, particularly at those speeds, unless the object is clear and stays slow and steady or still in view.

Nevertheless, I think that the UFO phenomenon is a very complex one, there is plenty of room for fakery unfortunately, leaving the real phenomenon "out to dry". Having witnessed myself in two occasions these strange objects and after some research, I would personally conclude that it's 50% from this Earth and 50% not.

Just my opinion.
