What do you know. It's about time. Finally standing up and taking notice. I think that they are under heavy attack from former legal advisors that have probed the last fews years of UNWRA employment and have found that many workers are Hamas terrorists. The sad part is the people are suffering from all of this craziness.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) announced Friday it would be suspending its humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, pending further notice.

It may just be that some people may have got the message at UNRWA outside of Gaza, and that some wrist-slapping has been going on. I also wonder about the extent of any so-called pacific resistance to the stealing of this food by the UNRWA staff.
Whatever, if UNRWA turns off the taps from outside Gaza, those in Gaza can't do much about it.
I, like yourself, am appalled however by the fact that this act, the consequences of which Hamas must have been aware, has deprived the Palestinian people of much-needed food.

Hamas says it was a Zionist/Fatah plot.
''The Palestinian government headed by premier Ismail Haneyya on Wednesday categorically denied the UNRWA accusations that the police in Gaza seized relief aid from its warehouses and called on the UN agency to apologize immediately for spreading false news.''
This ranks alongside their ''victory'' statements in believability.
I just hope the UN does not back down and apologize

lol!! Well, if this was the work of Fatah and Zionists, then Hamas's claims to being able to run Gaza look pitiful!!! I mean, If they are not even able to stop what would have had to have been substantial numbers of Zionist/Fatah military personnel from stealing hundreds of tons of food in broad daylight, particularly in Sha'ati, without even offering resistance, then they couldn't even stop a car for a faulty tyre!!!
That's the funniest thing I've read all day!!
