Update Sept-11

Russian GASPROM visiting Venezuela from next week on for oil/gas  negotiations

Two Russian bombers have landed at a Venezuelan airfield, from which they will carry out training flights for several days, the Russian news agency Interfax reported Wednesday.

The Tupolev Tu-160 strategic bombers landed at Venezuela's Libertador military airfield and "will spend several days carrying out training flights over neutral waters, after which they will return to the base," Interfax reported, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.

Col. Alexander Drobyshevsky, a ministry spokesman, told Interfax that NATO fighters followed the bombers on their 13-hour flight over the Arctic Ocean and the Atlantic.

"All flights by air force aircraft have been and are marked by strict conformity to the international rules on the use of air space over neutral waters," Drobyshevsky told Interfax.

The U.S. will monitor the Russian training, said Pentagon officials who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to speak on the information.

On Monday, Russia announced it might hold joint naval maneuvers with Venezuela in the Caribbean. The declaration came in the wake of increased tension between Russia and the United States over Russia's invasion last month of the former Soviet republic of Georgia, a U.S. ally that aspires to join NATO.

Russia on Monday denied any link between that announcement and the conflict in Georgia, although Russia has criticized U.S. support for Georgia, and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has long antagonized Washington.

I guarantee you will not like it, moon, no matter how much you love the russians.

René,

That is incredibly presumptuous of you.  You have no idea what I'll "like" or dislike.  For your information, where I stand, there are some principles worth suffering for and worth living in situations I don't "like" for, and freedom from US domination is right at the top of that list.

And one other thing.  I don't "love" the Russians or any group of people, but when one looks at the usury, murder and death raining down on the world from the vampires in Washington and compares it to the Russians, well the USA is the #1 criminal failed state on this planet.  No contest.

And when the USA fails, which it most certainly is already, it will be you that doesn't like it.  Me, I'll be grinning from ear to ear regardless of my empty stomach, and dancing and singing in joy with billions of people all around the world.

Russia today would be as the US where maybe in the 1960. It is safe and Has a great future ahead. Lets hope they do not mess it up like the US did mess there own future up.

Paschen the development of europe russia depends on economy exchange, energy security and discipline for peace. The Russian culture is different, reactions are not forsee the classic way. Russia has changed defends it's economy now. Many  russians come to see the french riviera for holidays. Most of them speak english, so let's talk.
